If you're wondering what a French person could think about this TWD show happening in France : I was worried but in the end, I felt respected. A big good point : the REAL french casting. We're so used to no french people playing french roles, that it feels so good to have that amazing french casting. And to have entire scenes with them talking in french, without the writers forcing them to talk in english (without the thing being logical), you don't know it, but it's so rare in a US production. I could say a little thing about the french old names, the way of playing being a little too formal and old fashioned tone of voice, the translation not taking the familiar words, but it's details. And the rest is so great that I can forget these details.

Isabel, that actress is amazing, we know we're gonna love her. But I want to tell you, to promise you even, that the actress playing Madame Genet at the end, you're gonna learn to love her. She's the kind of actress who can be really intense without being too much, just with her presence and her look, so as a villain character in this universe, she can be amazing. I also love Codron, who is gonna be a more personal enemy for Daryl, now that he killed his brother and his entire team. The story with Laurent… Not a fan of it, but if it can bring discussions about religion and faith, I think it can be interesting into TWD franchise, and even more with a character like Daryl.
