I had to make a break after the big and long flashback we had about Muishiro's past, I couldn't just go with the fight like nothing happened. To discover what happened to his parents, that he lost them both on the same day, like that, it was sad. But the reveal about his brother's existence was surreal. Like to see that he was the cold and closed one, to protect his twin brother. We knew we would see him dying in the same flashback, but his very end was… sad and painful.
For him, to beg and pray for Muishiro to be safe… And to explain all of his attitude with him, and what he really thinks of his brother. Muishiro fights so well, he's so fast, it's beautiful. He's focused, even if his mind keeps going on the flashbacks finally coming back to him.

Hello ! I appreciate your theory for the memory loss, but when they introduced Muishiro, they made clear that he's really young, so if he lost his brother at 11... it was not so long ago in fact and he had the time to train, become a demon slayer, become an hashira... clearly, we're missing a big thing here. And I love your thought about the markings ! Yes, maybe, the color and the shape of each means something !

2023-05-30 10:06:40 +0000 UTCYou know, at the start, I actually assumed that his "twin" was a hallucination caused by the trauma of losing his parents on the same day. I was proven wrong about that as the episode continued. hahaha. It would have been WILD though if that were the case. I didn't expect a whole flashback story for Tokito in this episode so that was a really nice surprise. It hit me harder when his brother was talking about where "mu" came from because from my subtitles what he said was that "'mu' came from 'Mugen' which means limitless" so when he said Mugen, I remembered Rengoku all over again. TT_TT If you replay that part, you can hear him say Mugen. With regards to his memory though, I assume that he lost it while he was a demon slayer already. Based on the episode where he remembered the master talking to him, he already had a sword with him. So I assume that after he buried his brother, he leaves with Lady Amane, trains, goes through the selection ritual, become a demon slayer, then gets injured on the job that causes his amnesia. I'd be interested to see the fight and the demon that caused it. That would be interesting. I was surprised that the markings were on his cheeks. But at least it's confirmed that he's descendant of sun breathers. I wonder if the marks have any meaning, because I feel that Tanjiro's is more pronounced and it's in the shape of fire, plus it's on his head. So I wonder if that signifies anything.
