"What was it you said about hunting?"

Leith pushes his ass towards you in response, gritting his teeth. Two of your fingers push against the base of the plug. Bark falls off the trunk as Leith digs his fingers in, groaning.

"If you want to lure a predator," you reiterate what Leith once taught you, grasping the plug between your fingers, coaxing it out from where it sits snug, "appear wounded." You pull on the plug ever so gently, until it starts to give, until the thickest part stretches his hole entirely- you tug, slowly, just a bit more, then you push it back in.

And Leith moans like a dying man.
