Hey Pro, it’s nice to hear from you! :D No need to apologize, life happens and that’s completely understandable. Alway put yourself and responsibility’s first! I hope you’re doing well and enjoying your holiday ^_^ I’m not sure why but you can download audios but not videos! As for collabs, I see your point there. Having a noticeable difference in sound quality between two people can be a little off putting. I’ve never worked with anyone before, but if I ever do I’d like to look into making the two recordings as similar as possible if I’m able!

Hey Ali! Long time no see! I promise I've been keeping up with your content, life (work) just came and hit me like a truck so I became a good old Internet hermit for a while, so apologies for not commenting or interacting at all. Couple things off the bat: You can download videos? Never knew that. Also, personally I'm not a big fan of collabs, sometimes the way each person records is noticeable and I'm not a big fan of that, especially if it's too different. I'm also on holiday right now, so really I shouldn't even be online, but oh well, here now! I'll try get back into commenting more, I've missed hanging out in your corner of the internet lol.

Glad you found it helpful! I’m no expert but I’m happy to pass along what I’ve picked up! And specifically, creatine is stored in the muscles to be used for energy when your muscles flex. That’s why it can work as a performance enhancer for most people. The water retention is just a bonus! It’s actually found naturally in red meats and seafood, just at waaaay smaller amounts than you’d get in a powder, our liver actually produces some creatine too Another alternative to multiplying weight by 16, you can also use a macro calculator to get a good starting point for your caloric needs too, I’ve used this one before and it’s pretty accurate within a few hundred calories: https://www.calculator.net/macro-calculator.html

Yeah Cloud, some people don’t really respond to creatine, every body is different. Most people do though and I definitely notice a difference, especially with the water retention. My muscles got visibly smaller when I wasn’t taking creatine for the week I was helping my sister move, not by a crazy amount, just enough to notice. It also felt just a little bit harder to push the same weight I was doing in the gym. Still recommend anyone trying to build muscle give it a shot, worst case scenario you don’t respond to it and decide to not take it anymore, best case you look a little bigger and it’ll help you lift a little heavier

That was really enjoyable and helpful to read so thank you for taking the time to type all that out for me! I didn’t know about the multiplying your weight by 16, that’s pretty neat. I also wasn’t aware of creatine so I’ll have to look into that! I’ve heard it mentioned before in some videos I watch of building muscle but never really knew what it was or did until now :P Bread is a big weakness of mine so I try to limit that. I love rice though! I much prefer dishes with rice than with bread. I remember you mentioning before about having 1g of protein for every pound you weigh. At first I thought that seemed like a lot but then when I started looking and was surprised at how much protein some stuff has haha!

There’s something about Instagram I’ve always disliked. I can’t really describe it but it’s just not my cup of tea lol. I get flooded with really outrageous messages on there (most being scams) and it’s incredibly annoying. For that reason I just post my art and that’s it xD I completely understand your stance on the ASMR and NSFW combination. I know some people enjoy it and I can see the appeal. I know a lot of people like to just chill and relax though at the end of the day too so I prefer to stick to that side when it comes to ASMR :) I also hope you enjoy Monogatari when you get around to it! ❤️

Haha, I feel you! Even as a pumpkin spice lover I’ll admit it’s gotten a bit out of hand. Raviolis are a bit much lol. I can’t imagine they’d taste very good either xD No worries, this is a no judgement zone! If anything I’m jealous that you’ll be able to experience Lain for the first time; something I’d love to experience myself again ❤️ It really is great though. If you like the Matrix movies you’ll 100% like Lain! :) I’ll admit I’ve watched The Menu at least five or six times now. It’s literally chef’s kiss when it comes to movies ✨

I tried taking creatine for a few months and didn't notice any difference. I think you're fine as long as you get enough lean protein.

I felt that! I find myself being that way too. I get really absorbed into working on something that I forget to eat until my stomach is like, “Hey, feed us” lol. Monogatari is a really good anime! Some people don’t like it and that’s fine, to each their own. They don’t know what they’re missing imo :P The author is really good at writing character development. If you’re into stories told through a lot of dialogue Monogatari is the way to go :)

Some unsolicited gym advice: You do need to eat, but you also need enough protein to effectively build muscle. Make sure you’re getting at least a gram per pound of desired body weight of protein. (Protein supplements will make this much easier to hit, but always prioritize whole foods) The rest of your macros can be filled in however you want, depending on whether you feel better with more fat or carbs in your diet The general rule of thumb is like 20% of your remaining calories after protein should be fat and the rest should be carbs but it’s honestly personal preference as long as you’re getting your protein For figuring out your maintenance calories, multiply your body weight by 16 and it should give an idea of how many calories you need to eat to maintain your current weight. Track your average weekly weight for two weeks to see if you’re gaining or losing, then add or subtract 200cal to adjust and track your average for another two weeks until your weight remains steady. To gain you MUST be in a calorie surplus (bout 10-20% of your maintenance calories to start is standard) Keep in mind, your body will adjust to the new normal as you gain and if you find your weight stagnating on your weekly averages it’s time to add another 100-200cal until you reach your desired weight. Fat gain is inevitable during a muscle building phase but you can limit the amount of fat you put on by prioritizing whole foods in your diet and making sure you’re doing your cardio in addition to weight training. Also, make sure you’re not jeopardizing your recovery and get at least 8 hours of sleep every day, your muscles are broken down through training and built back stronger through rest so don’t neglect that extremely important part of the equation (it’s what I struggle with the most tbh) Finally, I’d definitely recommend creatine. It can help your performance in the gym, and also has a great side effect of increasing water retention in the muscles, which will make them look slightly bigger as a result! It’ll normally take about three weeks of 5g a day to notice the effects. You can do a “loading phase” of 20g a day for a week to saturate your muscles more quickly before going to the standard 5g a day, but it’s not necessary. You’ll just see the results in a week rather than three. Since it’s a daily supplement anyway, your muscles will reach eventually reach full saturation regardless. Also if you do decide to buy creatine, stick with plain creatine monohydrate, it’s the cheapest option. Some will try to sell you on creatine hydrochloride, but the only difference between the two is that hydrochloride is a higher concentration, meaning that you can take a smaller dose. Performance-wise though studies have shown them to be exactly the same, so save some money and stick with monohydrate (little hack I’ve come up with, I buy unflavored creatine and use MIO to flavor the water I mix it with. Cheaper, and I can change the flavor as I please!)

I hate Instagram and most social media in general. I've pretty much deleted everything except Twitter, but I only use it for sports lol I like ASMR collabs, they can be a lot of fun. So I look forward to any! Your second rule gave a me a bit of chuckle, it reminded me of something. A few months ago I found a ASMR channel that I really like and then I found out they had a patreon. Naturally I felt like I had to check it out. To my dismay, the entire patreon was basically all NSFW audio lol I don't care if people make or listen to it, but it's not what I want to listen to when trying to sleep or after a shitty day. Most of the summer anime are about to end. I think the only new show that surprised me is "Too Many Losing Heroines." I'll start the Monogatari series soon/eventually, trying to trim down my watchlist first.

Sometimes I think about giving in to the relentless pull of pumpkin spice every fall, but then I stumble upon some product that makes me question man's hubris. I saw pumpkin spice ravioli last year. RAVIOLI. For the record, I don't actually dislike pumpkin spice in general. The union with coffee has always seemed a bit unholy to me though. A Megumin haircut would be sick. I love Konosuba and I really need to catch up on the newer episodes. Also, it's time for me to come clean. I've never seen Serial Experiments Lain. Is there anything more cathartic than telling people on the internet your secrets? I've been meaning to watch it for probably 15 years now. It's extra shameful because it's like 13 episodes long and I've had tons of people tell me it's the type of anime I'd really enjoy. I'll have to check out Monogatari at some point too. The Menu is fantastic, by the way. I thought about buying a Pacojet just so I could make references to it all the time.

Sometimes I lowkey be starving myself while working on projects because I be to lazy to get up and make myself something to eat when I work. I just lock in way to much I forget about my well being 🙃 I need to get into monogatari, I see a lot of people saying it's kinda weird but I've been watching anime since I was a kid so that type of stuff doesn't really bother me I'm kinda just use to it by now. the movies look really well animated too.

Lol turns out that that's only an issue downloading it through the mobile app, downloaded it on my desktop and got the right title :P There's a few that come to mind that usually has their own art, and also does their own stories, one of them does do a lot of ear licking stuff though so that might disqualify them, but they don't do nsfw stuff lol That's good!!

Just downloaded the audio using the developer console to extract the file url. Filename is "This week is a plate of Tylers Bullshit.wav" and the artist is "ALICHU!!!!". I love the all caps and four exclamation marks. I love asmr collabs. It's like getting a good side at a restaurant. It just enhances the overall experience

Lot of interesting stuff. A good bath joke, whole lot of good listening(don't worry, I've been nothing but a yapper so listening to this isn't a problem), and collabs. Ngl, as much as collaborating goes, I've never really thought you would do something like this. Ik collating is good and all and I get the limit you have, but I think for the artwork, maybe it could be involved with both people's art style(depending on if they draw). Also as much as I would enjoy trying to collab with Alichu, I don't really see myself doing anything of asmr, let alone art as well(especially since you dont have a business email on YT. I'm not wrong either, I checked to see and nowhere on the Bio says anything of an emal unless its somewhere else). I'd just prefer if I listen to audios and such.

And I really hope you got food after this :P the last half was nothing but your stomach grumbling lol Also, heck yes with the exercise! I gotta go easy on the jogging and walking myself now, accidentally bruised the bone in the ball of my foot lol and that friggin blows about the sun sickness.. Also, a collab would be awesome to listen to! And I really do appreciate that all the stories are new as well, don't know how many times I've listened to one studio, and then listened to another audio by the a different creator and they use the same script.
