"Reflection" Release

Hey all :) Hope you've been doing well since my last post!

Unfortunately, November hasn't been the greatest month for me. I'm not really comfortable sharing details about my private life (and I don't want to bore you all with my life story besides), but I've been struggling with a lot of personal and medical issues this month. The stress of everything has just really had my headspace and mental health all messed up and caused me some serious art block. Stress and depression affects creativity like any other hobby, and it's hard to be creative (let alone enjoy being creative) when you're not feeling it.

But all that said, today I have for you a render I'm really happy with! This render was inspired by OG RE3, which might sound strange since that game stars Jill Valentine as the main character. But in RE3, there's an unlockable epilogue file that features artwork of Ada looking at herself in a mirror, set in a window-lit room. Taking inspiration from that, I thought a render involving a mirror would be the perfect opportunity to showcase Ada's custom back tattoo, which I haven't shown off yet since I added it.

If you're not a fan of the tattoos, I understand and I've got you covered! However, I don't have the "No Tattoos" version available just yet. It's been a minute since my last post, so I wanted to go ahead and get this rendered, posted, and uploaded for you all, so I only have this main version for today's post. But I'll be rendering out the "No Tattoos" variant tonight and posting and uploading that for you all tomorrow!

Speaking of variants, this render also comes in two post-processing styles, "soft" (pictured here) and "sharp" ("soft" but with some filters/effects omitted or adjusted). Similar to the past few renders, I did play around with the stylized look on this but wasn't a fan, so I scrapped it.
