2025-03-07 02:44:21 +0000 UTCThis filled my Arthurian lit loving heart with joy!! Beautifully written and so so funny! How expensive do you think it is to dye an entire suit of armor? Adventuring may be slow, but the economy has to be booming, right??

2024-07-31 20:07:22 +0000 UTCFlynn, thank you for offering a medievalism I can stand to listen to. I am a medieval lit professor and teach Malory’s Tale of Sir Gareth whenever I do Arthurian lit. I truly did not know anyone but us boring lit professors were even familiar with it. The absolutely hilarious part of the tale for me is when Gareth and Lyonesse become betrothed (not Lynette, although I love Flynn’s restructuring of the romance) after Gareth defeats the Red Knight, they want to consummate their relationship before the wedding (because they are young, hot, and horny), and Lynette keeps bringing a suit of armor to life to stab Gareth deeply in the thigh everytime Lyonesse sneaks down to his bed. I feel like the end of Flynn’s version is like Lynette bringing a suit of armor to life to stab Gareth right where a wound would make certain activities difficult 😂 Very fun and clever, Flynn!

2024-07-31 08:12:22 +0000 UTCAfter three consecutive replays... This is delicious, endearing, relaxing. Tennyson who?! Well-written (kuddos to Flynn! We need more!), well-narrated (but what's new c'mon it's you), and the symbolism of each color?! Witty. Wish I had this in writing so I could keep it, but it would lack your magic and there's no fun in that. The end made me cackle - you're the best. "Men 🙄" "Live and do better!" lol Lynette I'm a fan.
