Important announcement about Final Fight MD:

We are currently awaiting a response from a distributor to make Final Fight MD an official game authorized by Capcom.

I will release the version at the end of February with several bugs fixed, but I will not be able to release ROMs with new rounds until we have a definitive answer.

Soon you will discover new games that I am developing for the Mega Drive, which could become a reality thanks to your support.

I hope to continue with everyone's support throughout this journey.

Newly discovered issues in recent Patreon release: 1. Haggar's catch box seems to be much narrower than the arcade version. 2. Pressing backward direction itself could cancel an attack move. In the arcade version, players need to press Attack to do this (with backward direction to launch a turn attack).

Hopefully Capcom don’t C&D this project. While there are plenty of enthusiasts and collectors out there, it still needs to remain financially profitable for Capcom if they do grant permission to make this an official release. Look forward to hearing an update when they give you an answer.

I'm so happy to hear that. I'm still continuing to watch GUY's combo to try to give a frame sheet soon. Also, I've noticed that the game actually has a fledgling combo cancel system. For example, Cody's single punch, when not hitting enemy, the frame that his arm extended lasts a total of 8 frames. BUT, the next punch can be launched after the 2nd frame. Hitting an enemy will also add a 6-frame hit stop after the second frame. Then, when hitting enemy, the next punch can be launched after the 2+6=8th frame. [2 frames (and 6 frames of hit stop) not cancellable period]- [6 frames cancellable period] What I'm saying may still be difficult to understand. I will try to make diagrams.

I don't think Capcom will send us any information about the game, but it would be very welcome if anything happens. The frame speeds of Cody's combo were adjusted according to the sprite sheet you sent, so much so that I thanked you in the readme file. You'll notice this in the next demo.

Congratulations! Once it becomes an official game, hopefully you'll have access to Capcom's official development resources, such as frame data. If possible, is Cody's attack speed to be adjusted in the bug fixed demo later this February?

Yes, officially released by a major distributor and licensed by Capcom. Well-made box, colorful manual, quality cartridge and everything else that an original game deserves. We are fighting for this.
