WIP Demo ROM - Patreon version 2023-08-20

Here are some differences from the previous release:

- Fixed incorrect score reset when changing stages.

- Fixed Cody's stab speed movement.

- The Hollywood/El Gado aerial stab is no longer invincible.

- Fixed enemy shadow sprites causing address errors.

- Fixed animation in round 1-2 when exiting the stage, which allowed the character to punch backward.

- Fixed jump animation at the end of round 1-1 and round 1-3.

- Energy is now restored when entering the car's bonus stage.

- Fixed the raised part of the ground at the start of round 3-1, which previously allowed players to make inconsistent moves.

- Changed punch timing to try to approximate the "back and forth punch combos" bug from the arcade (but still not correct).

- Optimized the algorithm for calculating the distance between players, items, and enemies.

- Now the knife flashes when Cody is near an item or enemy, notifying that it will not be thrown.

- Now the knife used by Cody can hit items without being thrown.

Aqui estão algumas diferenças em relação a release anterior:

- Corrigida o reset incorreto da pontuação ao mudar de estágio.

- Corrigido o movimento de velocidade de facada do Cody.

- A punhalada aérea de Hollywood/El Gado não é mais invencível.

- Corrigido sprites de sombra dos inimigos que causavam erros de endereçamento.

- Corrigida animação no round 1-2 ao sair da fase, que permitia que o personagem desse um soco para trás acertando a porta.

- Animação de salto corrigida no final do round 1-1 e round 1-3.

- A energia agora é restaurada ao entrar no estágio de bônus do carro.

- Corrigida a parte elevada do solo no início do round 3-1, que permitia que antes os jogadores fizessem movimentos inconsistentes.

- Tempo de soco alterado para tentar aproximar o bug de "combos de socos para frente e para trás" do fliperama (mas ainda não está adequado).

- Otimizado o algoritmo para calcular a distância entre jogadores, itens e inimigos.

- Agora a faca pisca quando Cody está perto de um item ou inimigo, avisando que não será lançada.

- Agora a faca usada por Cody pode atingir itens sem ser arremessada.

Thanks for this release. It's great to experience every step along the way. I am really happy with Haggar's punch combo sequence speed now, it seems on point with the arcade and a joy to play. Cody seems to have improved as well, but I haven't compared it yet to the arcade. Keep up the great work! I'll be obsessing over this version for many days.

Once again a stellar version! Quick question: Sometimes it feels as if the "Z axis hit box" of Damnd is either too small or Damnd just doesn't register a clear hit ... I haven't really had the time to compare it to the arcade original yet but I thought I might mention it here nonetheless. It's probably just my bad! :-D
