Changelog FFMD 2023-01-03
Added 2023-01-04 11:43:56 +0000 UTCI'm working every day with the beta testers to find and fix any bugs, especially those related to gameplay. This week I intend to focus on fixing the serious bugs, including the main focus: getting rid of slowdowns.
For now I publish the changelog below so you know how the internal versions are evolving.
On Sunday I intend to release another more stable preliminary ROM.
Note: If anyone wants a preliminary version before Sunday, just ask me and I'll generate a file.
2023-01-02
- Removed the debug counter in the top right corner of the screen.
- Fixed the hitbox of sprite barrels inside the subway.
- Fixed bug in the final cap of round 1-1.
- Fixed last combo hits before throwing an enemy by Cody and Guy (4 and 5 hits).
2023-01-03
- Fixed Guy's color palette in the opening sequence.
- Fixed bug that made throwing not work after kneeing enemies.
- Fixed flames not causing damage to the players.
- Implemented a small pause in the animation of the player stopping after walking, like in the arcade.
- Fixed bug that allowed gamepad interaction in cutscenes.
- Fixed bug that broke items with hitbox generated when attacking grabbed enemies.
- Fixed bug that makes red Holly Wood walks without animation when grabbing and releasing him.
- Implemented hitbox to defend against molotov (placed temporary animation).

Estou trabalhando todos os dias com os beta testers para encontrar e corrigir quaisquer bugs, principalmente aqueles relacionados à jogabilidade. Pretendo nesta semana focar para corrigir os bugs graves, incluindo o foco principal: livrar-me da lentidão.
Por enquanto publico abaixo o changelog para que saibam como está a evolução das versões internas.
No domingo pretendo soltar outra ROM preliminar mais estável.
Obs.: Se alguém quiser uma versão preliminar antes de domingo, basta me pedir que eu gero um arquivo.
2023-01-02
- Removido o contador de depuração no canto superior direito da tela.
- Corrigido o hitbox dos barris de sprite dentro do metrô.
- Corrigido bug no cap final da rodada 1-1.
- Corrigidos últimos acertos combinados antes de lançar um inimigo por Cody e Guy (4 e 5 acertos).
2023-01-03
- Corrigida a paleta de cores do Guy na sequência de abertura.
- Corrigido o bug que fazia o arremesso não funcionar após dar uma joelhada nos inimigos.
- Corrigidas chamas que não causavam danos aos jogadores.
- Implementada uma pequena pausa na animação do jogador parando após caminhar, como no arcade.
- Corrigido bug que permitia a interação do gamepad em cutscenes.
- Corrigido bug que quebrava itens com hitbox gerado ao atacar inimigos agarrados.
- Corrigido o bug que fazia o Holly Wood vermelho andar sem animação ao agarrá-lo e soltá-lo.
- Implementado hitbox para defesa contra molotov (colocada animação temporária).

The additional characters that were placed are only those that belong to the same world of Final Fight. (Captain Commando is from Metro City in the future).

I have some feedback that are not bug fixes but are more related to general differences when compared to the arcade. This may be nit picking and I apologize but I noticed with Cody and Haggar not so much with Guy, their regular punches (the first two) before getting into the combo may be a little slower (not by much). Would you consider looking into it? It's not a big deal (low priority on the list) but I can feel it - maybe I am more sensitive to the little details lol. I love this project and all your work so far! Thank you.

Also, do you plan to add any other characters besides Maki and Captain Commando? Capcom made so many beat em ups with viable characters... like those in Battle Circuit. Or the marine from Aliens vs Predator.
