As a PC player I agree whole on your second paragraph - bring over all sorts of things from older libraries to people of all sorts of systems. I'd love to replay Lost Odyssey for instance (had an XBOX 360 then, no longer do) and there's lots of games, but there's also a lot that was only on PC that console players would enjoy.

2024-03-26 07:21:27 +0000 UTCI can’t speak to the PC version - I’m playing on Switch where I’ve been collecting all the Aspyr Star Wars classics. There, I have yet to encounter any major bugs/crashes playing single-player, and I personally have no desire to deal with pvp. For players who don’t do PC, I would love to see more devs bringing back older releases from hardware that’s basically extinct to stuff that still runs… Fallout 3/NV, Oblivion, Metal Gear Solid 4 (Anything really from the PS3 era) on Switch would be instant buys for me if they changed nothing, just did a straight port… And with facelifts and more of the DLC embedded, all the better.
