I found a new brush pack that is all sorts of traditional style floral tattoo designs, and wanted to try them out! TBH I'd love to have a character who is super tatted one day-- but it's sooooo much more work keeping track of intricate tattoo designs. You gotta worry about how they wrap around the body and that they're always consistent... meh. I think I'll stick to Judas' single, simple style tattoo for my characters lol.
That being said this was a lot of fun to play around with. I think Keplan and Bebe actually look the most natural with them-- especially Kep. His character design would look really great with florals tattoos.
What's funny is that I don't think Keplan would ever get any at all. I'm sure he likes them but... this is a guy who probably regrets his sock choices on the daily. He's impulsive and he knows it lol. He would be too afraid of not liking the tattoo after like 5 min of having it, that he'd never go through with it lol.
Bebe is scared of needles who she wouldn't get any either (Judas rejoices, a win for hypocritical him).
I don't think (believe it or not) that Dirt actually LIKES tattoos. Would he look hot as fuck with them? Yes... But I could also see him being like "Why would you put a bumper sticker on a Lamborghini?" in reference to his perfect self.
That leaves us with Harver... out of them all, I actually think he's the one who would end up going full sleeve one day. It wouldn't happen any time soon-- not with the Harver we know as of now in the comic lol. But give him a few years to gain some confidence, get out of his shell, and be proud of the things he thinks are cool? Hell yeah. My boy deserves this.
(The only reason I didn't draw Beau and Sage with full sleeves of tattoos is because I fear we would all nose bleed to death).
