Webtoon Jail

So, I probably should have "officially" mentioned this two days ago, but Webtoon flagged the first episode of FBM for having too much profanity and took it down... which was a HUGE bummer because the comic was off to such a strong start-- it had even reached #27 in the top 30 for Romance in LESS than 24 hours. (For reference, it took TLLT about 2.5 years to get into the top 30). So I went from really really happy to really, REALLY bummed.

Now, the comic isn't taken down permanently or anything, I'm just in this unfortunate waiting game with Webtoon-- waiting for them to review the edits I made to the text and approve it. They wanted me to censor my curse words with $%#*! << these things, lol. since the comic is rated for teen audiences, I guess that makes them feel better... (seriously, I could get up on my soap box for hours about how ridiculous Webtoon is with their censorship and picking and choosing which artists get away with what, but whatever).

Anyway, I didn't make an announcement about this sooner because I was hoping it would be a quick fix... and now that it's the weekend and I still haven't gotten an email back, I'm thinking it's because Webtoon doesn't have staff working Saturday/Sunday. HOPEFULLY monday it'll be resolved and the comic can pick back up where it left off-- gaining traction quickly.

The way that I'm coping with this whole disappointing situation is by imagining Harver and Keplan being taken to Webtoon jail LOL. And being stuck in a holding cell together until Webtoon releases them. (FREE MY BOYS WEBTOON!!!!)
