Here's some pics of me in Sardina before everything was stolen. Those yellow shorts were one of the few things I was able to keep, I ended up wearing them every day for about a week!

Thanks Pam. And... that's actually not a bad idea. I like scripts where the listener starts out feeling kind of vulnerable, it leaves a lot of space to work within. I'm gonna write it down! (And I probably should have thought of it myself!)

I've thrown every possible bit of releveant paperwork at them I could muster, so we'll see how it goes. (Definitely not looking forward to seeing what the bills look like in three months time!)

Since you mentioned scripts, maybe you could actually use your experience in an audio where you help the listener whoβs had their belongings stolen, or the listener helps you. At least it could start out that way. Please take some time off to take care of yourself. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

2022-09-17 03:14:12 +0000 UTCAt the risk of stating the obvious, there's no magic in insurance - the claims adjuster is looking at the same policy doc as you are. Check your cover, check the exclusions & if you can't see why the claim is turned down, follow the complaints procedure and escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service. Β£1000 may only pay the heating bill for 1 week come the winter, but still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick π
