Industrious 16!
Added 2022-12-13 13:23:31 +0000 UTCOkay, my weekend turned into a weird mess, but this is done now. I've already started 16 and want to have that out in a day or two to make up for this being late.
After I've got another chapter of Industrious down, I'll be working on a chapter of Speedrun or something to keep my energy up.
Once again, thank you all for helping me get to the point where I can focus on my writing this much. It's very fulfilling to see people liking what I have to offer this much. I hope everyone is staying safe and having fun during the holiday season.

If it's enforcing a change in general, could she use it for healing instead of wounding? Like prepare a painting of a team mate, and add the background on the fly, to pull off something like Izanagi. I dunno how specific you could get for repairing insides, but I could at least see someone reattaching limbs that way. I guess if the genjutsu only takes when they run through their stamina, it would still incapacitate them, but it seems like it could have some application.

And on a meta level going into the weeds of a magic system for an Industrious Inventor story where part of the storytelling is what is being unraveled tech - or in this case technique - wise.

2022-12-13 21:15:10 +0000 UTCWasn't a big fan of this chapter. It was a bit too "technical." The best way I can compare it too is a Star Trek fic with too much technobabble. Decent enough to get something moving, but I'd suggest not doing too many other chapters like this.

I also think it's why Kurenai gets such a bad rep, that and the itachi incident. Though I also thought that her passenger was a nascent tailed beast at the time lol Is there a reason he hasn't sunk a charge into her clan bloodline ? Apart from it would be boring

2022-12-13 15:39:31 +0000 UTCWhile I wasn't enthused on the inherent implications of Yakumo's inclusion to the fic on principle because she's from filler, Slayer's done a good job with it so it doesn't matter. And indeed, clever way to take her abilities to a logical conclusion. And of course Kota would be interested even outside academic curiousity, since he might not ever be able to use sage mode without melting his brain, and he's a creator himself.
