Some environment test renders

Done with the environment for now, still need to render a few second test animation to see how much noise/flickering it has since I'm currently rendering at just 64 samples to keep the render times at somewhat manageable level. If it ends looking bad in motion then I might have to do something else with that background scene.

I also did switch from cycles renderer to octane renderer. So far I have liked the visual result it produces and it also isn't prone to frequent crashes due to not having enough VRAM in the same way cycles is.

I would also like to hear your opinion on these kind of posts which only contain some work in progress stuff and if they are something you would like to see/care to see more in the future.
Previously I have just posted once in a month when I have a new animation to release and then proceed to disappear until I have had new animation to release, I was thinking that it would probably be nice if I updated my patreon a bit more frequently than that.

That environment you've got there is really looking awesome. I love how full it looks, and I think the style compliments your dragon models very well. The only critique I can think of is maybe the flora is so dense that, combined with the clearing in the center, it can almost make the scene look unnatural to me from wider angles. Obviously, this only applies if you're ever going to even use angles that wide (particularly image 4). I think it's also just the circular clearing being a completely different sort of grass than the rest around it that's a little distracting to me. I think maybe if there were a more gradual blend between the clearing and the surrounding plant life, it wouldn't even cross my mind. But again, if you won't be using angles that wide, then I think it looks great as is. As far as update posts, I'd definitely prefer them, but I don't think you really have to give much away. For me, just a screenshot or 2 of what's coming gets me more excited to see the final product. Short clips of in-progress modeling/animation are also great, particularly if you're trying something new that you want to show people. Personally, seeing how/what you're working on only adds to my excitement and appreciation when the finished video is finally released.

Honestly when it comes to your video's dzat, i find that having them pop up as a supprise gathers my interest the most, also the fact that you make scaly animations also helps. keep up the good work.

little WIP pics and small stuff like that more frequently would be nice, even if they are a bit spoiler-y
