mushroom princess WIP

Whoops! Gonna be a few days late on the pinup this time around on account of a broken drawing tablet. Drew too much on it! Still gonna be a few days before the new one arrives. In the mean time I can still kinda work on the old one, but for big illustrations and projects it's pretty miserable, ngl. Basically what's happened is I've worn through the surface to the point where my pen nib kept running over the same scratch to the point where the surface started peeling, gradually creating this pot hole that causes my stylus to jump every time my pen passes over it. It's like a record needle skipping while drawing basically. Pretty infuriating. I am probably going to just keep doing studies and exercises in the meanwhile, because it's less of a problem on a 10-30 minute study where the end result literally doesn't matter.

Very much looking forward to the replacement, I've needed one for a very long time, just other stop keeps popping up that I have to spend money on. Too lazy to snap a pic of what it looks like rn so the attached photo is from a year and a half ago. As you can see the surface is completely worn thru. This does not feel good to draw on lol. Now imagine even more scratches and a tiny crater slightly right of the center.

On account of the delay, this means the second pinup you guys suggested will have to be next month's pic. Will probably do more patron suggestions from here on out. so I'll ask for another suggestion probably in the middle of the month. Hope to get back to personal stuff soon too, but had a kind of rough month. Have just been feeling kind of creatively spent on top of struggling to work on broken equipment, and also my shoulder problem kept getting worse and end up severely limiting what I could get done. Maybe a few days off of drawing will help. I'll post some more sketchbook stuff though.
