This week I've been stuck inside because I've been sick, so I'm dreaming of the outdoors. That takes me back to one of the questions suggested during our first week.

Mountains, way better views, and if you're lucky you can look out over the ocean too! Also no sea sickness. I'm a land lubber through and through.

2022-04-23 20:45:13 +0000 UTCWhen I was younger, me and my parents went to the seashore for our holiday every year. I still love the calming splashes of the waves and the salty taste in the air... the wind in your hair, the sand inbetween your toes. But at some point, it got kind of boring because of the lack of change. Every year the same long trip (about 8,5 hours by car) and then two weeks of tranquility. I am starting to enjoy that part again, as I am getting older, but right now the mountains are my favourite. You can just feel its majestic presence and although it is a wonderful sight to behold, it can get quite scary quite quickly. Maybe thats just part of the apeel... as same as "challenging" the mountain aswell as yourself. Getting your shoes on in the morning, pack your bag and just keep walking and climbing, as far as you dare to go (in a reasonable range of course :D ).
