Question of the Week: March 17th, 2022

Another week, another question! A huge thank you to everyone who's been sharing their answers for these questions - I really do look forward to reading them every week! Y'all are awesome!

Last week's questions was a good one and had some great answers. Animals are incredible creatures, and they have so many amazing skills, that was a tough one to answer!

This week's question was submitted by Bluff Oranzova in our first week's post. Thank you, Bluff, for such a great question! (I may have spent some time with my Switch this past weekend, which made this question stand out... πŸ˜‰).

Here's this week's question:

πŸ’œπŸ’œ If you were the final boss in a video game, what would you look like? What would your powers be? πŸ’œπŸ’œ

This one is super fun and I can't wait to see what y'all come up with!

Have fun!

Wow, y'all are really just messing with everyone's heads with this one, aren't you? πŸ˜† Seriously, though, sometimes those tutorials *feel* like a freaking villain that you need to get past to progress in the game, so this makes total sense to me! Utter defeat before you even start. Awesome. πŸ˜‹ Thanks for sharing! πŸ’œπŸ’œ

If you're going for the toughest boss to beat, I think you've pretty much nailed it, Fawlters! The game just stays on and won't let you leave until the manual has been finished - but the manual is some excessively long exercise in frustration that strikes fear into the hearts of gamers everywhere. That would make the day-to-day instructions and manuals we encounter seem tame, wouldn't it? You might just be on to something here! Thanks for sharing! πŸ’œπŸ’œ

I would be the tutorial npc from the starting area. Just going for the psychological damage.

The manual for the game, you aren't allowed to turn off the game until you've read all the way through. I don't know what the rest of the game would look like, and it might not be the most fun thing ever, but if it got people into the habit of reading manuals and instructions it'd be worth it. It might be about all the little things people forget, like tracking down things that fell down the sofa or lost socks. This is my 6am game pitch, it might need workshopping a bit...
