As Haldan seeks to begin a new life after his Arena fumble, he gets embroiled in a conflict between wasteland crusaders known as Sons of Betelgeuse and mutants. Risng tensions reach a boiling point when Sons declare war on all mutants, citing regular raids aimed at their border settlements. Haldan finds himself between between a rock and a hard place in the besieged city of New Verden. Storm is brewing on the horizon.
