To answer lightshock a bit more directly: no, climate change deniers are entrenched and will be very difficult to dislodge. Any attempt of a direct confrontation will result in a barrage of curse words and it would be nearly impossible to gain slur superiority. When encountering such a fortified position, it's better to go around it and just let them continue digging their own holes without engaging them.
