It sounds like you're just making that reason up. lol From what others have said, the actual reason is supposedly because the cover stories that they *did* animate at the start (Buggy, and then Coby + Helmeppo) resulted in people complaining that they wanted to see more of the Strawhats instead. Which is dumb, but more believable. :P

I know that the version they're using doesn't include them, but had they looked these up themselves, the chapter titles could have spoiled them. Better to be safe

But re-reading again as an adult, my mind was blown by the reveal of winged ppl are from the moon. Somehow this fact deemed not really necessary that it left vague even in the manga. But maybe it'll become important later? Man OP world building never fail to make my heart beating from excitement.

Lol I remember getting cussed out in the comments for mentioning a "spoiler" when at the end of the skypia arc I said they should check out this cover story cause it kinda talks about the fairy vearth and that shandorians are originally from the moon.

2025-03-07 20:29:45 +0000 UTCI looked into it a little bit and the best explanation I could find is that Big Adventures of Little Buggy and the Kobimepo training arc didn't get good viewership when they originally aired so they just stopped adapting the cover stories

It's always funny and slightly frustrating when people/reactors are caught up but still don't know about this cover story and ask questions like "do yall think there are aliens? Their surveys and data suggested a huge drop in viewers for episodes that Luffy doesn't appear in(you'll see in episodes like the Buggy or Koby ones they always include Luffy thinking about them in the episode or something) and an even further drop for episodes that aren't atleast closely related to Luffy

By the way, not sure if someone mentioned this at the end of Skypeia but do you remember how they all treat land (soil and rock) as a valuable, holy thing? Well, the name Eneru gave for his destination can also be translated as Endless Earth (or 'Vearth'). A place where there's endless land, stretching from horizon to horizon... no oceans in sight. If only such a place existed ;)

We've seen SBS now where the fans have seen things, and he said all will be revealed eventually. But I guess that's just me having too much faith with GOda sensei.

(such as buggy meating alvida, jango becoming a marine or Koby and helmeppo meeting garp and training on the grand line) Will hatchan the octopus, gedatsu from sky island, baroque works agent or eneru and his moon army come back in the main story ? We’ll see 👀
