Future fic
Added 2025-04-28 19:04:41 +0000 UTCI know i said i wanted to go the mass effect route as you guys wanted and i was excited to do so. i had a great idea for a fic where the mc is sent back to before humanity finds the Prothean ruins and makes the greater with a different tech tree to follow but after many attempts to start, writers block has hit me hard even with two patreon and discord members trying to help. We all got slumped in by how to begin then continue
Thus i may have to change to a 40k fic in future

How did he get started, what technologies did he choose to begin with, what technologies did he sell to get the capital for his own corporation. Stuff like that. Starting with a meeting with 4 president's ala Tony Stark just to tell them "no, you can't have my tech. Fuck off." Cuts all that out. Unless you were planning to do flashbacks. And i hate flashbacks. I guess it depends on what aspects of the story you were planning to focus on. Which Stellaris tech trees does he have access to? Is it focused on the MC and a hand full of characters? Or broader scope with a multi mc style. The fact it only took 12 years to go from basic human tech to Anti-Matter and Jump Drives is impressive. Hopefully you can clear the block, that always sucks. That said, 40k is interesting too. In a "holy shit I need a wormhole out of this fucking galaxy" kinda way π π€£. Though I've always wondered what would happen if someone ended up combining Borg and Necron technologies.
