I never thought him sleeping as that 💔😭🥲 though on a different note I always liked to think about how he only sleeps when he feels safe and comfortable

paws_pau

I don't even have a laptop 😭🤣 or a computer just my phone 😞 I follow another reactor group on Patreon and they have their videos on the patreon site full uncut and the ones on their YouTube are the ones with the filters. This is one of the first content creators outside of those other guys that I have subbed to so I thought it was all like that 😂 I think it's cool. I still get to watch the videos early. But it's in the same format as on YouTube. I'm wondering if it is possible to sync it or do I have to watch it on a separate device?

Ben Asay

Sanji was my favorite character from the MOMENT he pulled that trick with the wine on Fullbody and he has remained my favorite character for 1,000+ episodes. He can be kind of dumb about women, but never let that distract you from his heart of gold. 💛

PanjaMysy

Same. My laptop died recently so I can't sync up either so only watch the edited ones.

PanjaMysy

this is absolutely not true, and even very vaguely racist. there’s no “falling down the stairs” double meaning in japanese.

Stick Haul

I have a Google pixel 7 pro. I don't know how to run two things at once so I can only watch your short videos 😭🤣 I don't own a computer either lol I enjoy the reactions either way! I also watch another one piece reactor who leaves the filter off on his patreon videos but does all the filter stuff on the YouTube videos. If someone on here knows how I can watch along on the full length videos with this type of phone, please let me know

Drew Sims

Krissas face after she realized what haylee meant about Zoro sleeping all the time🥲😂🥹 its okay it broke all of us too

Sherin Nahed

That was such a good line 😭

Haylo

I watch these episodes once more on my own without interruption before watching your reaction videos. Then I watch your short reaction video, followed by your full-length reaction video. This precious series, which I have been following since 2003 and watched over and over again, I might be watching one last time with you. It's a very special experience for me. Thank you, 'Haylo & Kiss'.

Ikado

"I'm going to get strong enough that my name reaches to heaven", I never understood why they let the single best and important line of zoros flashback out of the live action adaptation D:

SeCo D. Raw

Watch the scene again pay attention to the dialogue and the scene with kuina and her dad talking before the incident

markus

I want you guys to meet the next strawhat member asap 😭

markus

Hey! I discovered y'all like two days ago and HAD to subscribe to the Patreon! I sped through y'all's reactions so fast because I'm loving the infectious positive energy you have together. Seeing your excitement over this series is such a treat! I'm with many others when I say I hope you don't stop where the live action ended. In fact, I think it would be interesting to see a S2 reaction from someone who started live, went anime, and then has context for the second season! Whatever you choose I'll be here for it!

Karma

“Maybe he sleeps all the time to dream about Kuina” Why would you say that?! 😭😭😭😭😭 Love watching y’all ❤️

Bri

It's really cool that you guys are watching the anime after the live-action. You can spot the little indicators like Nami acting a bit weird when she sees Arlong's wanted poster but nobody in the crew is paying attention to see it, plus that to step on Sanji's hands is to invite a beatdown because he won't even use his hands to fight and why wasting food is such a trigger for him.

fr0st

Woo, best cook in the seas has arrived!

fr0st

So sad they left that out in the LA, it's such a powerful line

fr0st

I'm pretty sure that's just a rumor that started from the One Piece subreddit. It's likely that Kuina actually just fell down the stairs.

bertaunth

I can't handle just two posts a week, I need more! hehehe You girls are incredible, I love the way you get hooked on the story and live every emotion

CacoMetal

Full body was in the live action. Watch again the first scene in the baratie.

Vjong Trias

The "bug in my soup" bit is a reference to the "waiter, there's a fly in my soup" joke. Sanji's deadpan response is supposed to read as a punchline. I don't know why the anime changed it from a fly to a roach though. It was a fly in the manga and the joke-but-not-a-joke thing was much clearer.

Kitsune Inferno

i was looking for this !!!!

traxxas

Falling down the stairs is being used in Japanese culture to "hide" the fact someone committed suicide to save face and honor.

Mike Drop

„Does he sleep so much to dream of Kuina“ is actually such a cute/sad interpretation, I love it! Although its most likely exhaustion of his superhuman training regime ^^

van der Lark

LOL I don't remember where or how, but I learned about it veryyy young and it stuck with me for some reason! - Haylo

Haylo

Don't know if anyone mentioned it yet but there is a big theory in the fandom if Kuina is really dead, that she comitted suicide because she never will be able to achieve her dream just because she's a women. It's kinda the last time we saw her, so we also dont have more confirmed info about her. But offscreen deaths are most of the time no deaths, so maybe she is still alive.

Wlad

the crying voice acting in One Piece is so insanely good. My favorite is Luffy's, wait until you see the crazy scary moments they encounter later on - where he's legit scared for everyone's lives.

Goon

All the sleeping that Zoro does is because of the extreme training that he goes through. In order for the muscles to grow properly, a decent amount of sleeping is necessary

Green Hog

"I'm going to get strong enough, that my name reaches to Heaven!" Such a powerful statement. :'D

Goon

I hate that character os much. Down D. Stairs.

D Q

people make jokes about Kuina's death but i think the message behind it is so true and powerful. Life is so random, that even someone as promising as Kuina - can be gone in the next second.

Goon

As others have said, Fullbody was in the live action but as a much smaller role, also forgot how savage Sanji was in his first appearance in the anime. Also Kuina's death is such a tragedy but also the perfect way for her character to have gone, such talent and potential, such a good soul, all gone in such an unceremonious and average way, makes it even more tragic. It makes Zoro's conviction all the more weighted because he's carrying the potential Kuina had too because he knows that if she hadn't died, she would've been the one to achieve what he's trying to right now, becoming the world's greatest swordsman.

Baker

Down D. Stairs strikes again.

Eastblue

👏👏👏 thanks for the lesson bud

TOOKIE

Yeah honestly I preferred Baratie in live action compared to the anime. Pacing was better and was closer to the source material. I find it funny though how anime censorship works, it's not good to even hint at self-cannibalism but it's fine to show someone "making a forced visit to the donut shop" later on in all its glory.

Baker

Stuff like Zoro coming to challenge the Dojo, and bowing and dropping one of the wooden swords in his mouth each time, and Kuina challenging Zoro as a direct result of hearing that she's not ready to take over the dojo, and Zoro's rage-filled trauma training are all additions that make the anime version of his flashback more fleshed out and gives us more time to breathe and digest. The anime makes us care even more.

hurryupmode

They said they would stop around episode 45, which is about where the live action stopped.

Ilsuk Yang

I don't think I've ever seen anything with pirates in it and not seen a depiction of scurvy. It was even in Muppet Treasure Island, I think. Sailors would often get scurvy because the food taken on long voyages had to take a long time to spoil, and food with vitamin C in it spoils quickly as it's typically abundant in fruit and veg. The Brits took limes with them on these voyages because the hard skin protects the fruit inside better and for longer than soft-skinned fruits, and so we started getting called "Limeys" by the Americans for it.

Jonathan Charles

Oh ok. Well the live action only leads up to episode 45 in the anime. It'll be cool if they go beyond it though

TOOKIE

fullbody is in the live action, he is one of the first two sanji beats when sanji gets out of the kitchen to start serving instade. a pirate was demanding fullbody to apology for his bad manners.

Khaleel Sulayman

Kiss, wassup with curls ? Going to meet someone today are we ? Sanji ?😄😄

PKS

How the heck did ya know it was scurvy??? I've never heard of it. I've heard Mr. Krabs using it

TOOKIE

They said up to the live action, but I didn't watch. In the manga east blue is the first 100 so I just put that 🤣

Gabriel Ramos

They said they're going up to 100ep???

TOOKIE

Fullbody did play a small scene in the live action actually - he wasn't introduced as such, but when Sanji was made to wait tables, he comes out and kicks down Fullbody and another customer after they have an argument. Fullbody's blonde date is also there! And again, I agree with you both that the casting is so great, even for the smaller characters.

Gareth Williams

Well probably because the flashback shows us his goal and his motivation and that is connected to what happens at the Baratie ;)

MotU_Shosha

Fullbody was in the live-action, the fight Sanji broke up before greeting Luffy and Co involved him. When you get to Zeff and Sanji's backstory, it won't be the same as the live-action because they had to censor it to be shown to kids on TV. The live-action backstory is the true story as it happened in the manga.

xGalaxyMaiden

Kuina snuck around looking for the sharpening stone because the fight with Zoro damaged the blade and she didn't want her dad to know she fought with real sword

Vero

In the manga, the Zoro flashback happens when we meet Zoro, but in the anime, they put it in a different place. I don't know why. Maybe so that the action wasn't interrupted.

Nik Jovan

it's funny that you guys think that you'll stop at 100, good luck!
