During your live action watch you guys commented that you expected him to learn the lesson of the boy who cried wolf, and definitely the anime also sets up that expectation, only to double down and make him a liar even when it would have bolstered his image to tell the truth. That line of Usopp's lies always speaking about the joy of living is just so good. I'm so glad you guys got the chance to appreciate what his character really is like cause the live action did him dirty for sure.

2024-02-08 20:42:16 +0000 UTCWithout the original voice actors, I would never have been watching the LA in german, but in japanese instead with subs. I hate it if voice actors change for familiar characters. I needed like 150 episodes to get somewhat used to Zoros new german voice actor after his original died, although they do not sound very different. But I was very happy that they got all these original voice actors. I enjoy especially Daniel Schlauchs voice acting for Luffy. Flying Lamb is the name that I am used too from my childhood and later when I was forced to switch to subbed episodes (400+) the name Merry were not mentioned for some reasons and so I never got really used to it and still call the ship Flying Lamb.

Luffy: Dumb rubber man who loves meat, loves his nakama and will fight and win for a whole country if promised food after. Luffy: They can't know my next move if I don't even know my next move :D

I mean, just the way Usopp left without telling the villagers what really happened is such an underrated action for him this early in the story. Man, I think I'm sweating from my eyes 😢

My bestie preferes it too 😁 I grew up watching the Anime on TV (in German) but later I switched to the original dub with english sub. And even tho I adore the German name...for me Going Merry as her name makes more sense bc of the 'meaning' (what I think is the meaning behind the name). The Strawhats 'go on their merry way' 🥰 I recently looked up what their ship is called in different languages and there are some awesome names/meanings out there~ 😍☺️ Also, what did you think of the fact that they casted the original voice actors for the LA? Were you as excited as me?! 😍☺️

And I had the scene in my head when she saved them and what happened after and I cried even harder. It's so exciting to know that at some point the two of you will get to these episodes 🥰 I like the LA Usopp...but I adore Anime Usopp and his story 💕 Also...I'm sooo HYPED for the next two episodes and what will follow 🎉😍

Some of them are also just shortened versions of longer arcs, like Episode of Arabasta Do you plan on watching all episodes or do you want to skip filler arcs? Many people recommend to skip the filler arcs except for some exceptions, like the G8 arc
