Y'all...this show has got us going crazy. It's incredible in EVERY single way.
We will watch the OVA episodes that we've been told to check out next! We may combine those into one video and then we will continue on in to season 2. We can't stand to take a break from this. 😂

disagree. as someone who has seen both of the animes. compared to one piece, AOT has superior writing, more nuanced characters, and a more intricate plot.

Objectively, when it comes to complexity and mature themes, the best written stories are: AoT, Death Note, Vinland Saga, Berserk and FMA. They are in the class of their own. One Piece is very nice and pleasant adventure story, but it far more simple and the writing is not always good. Of course this is not the ultimate truth, just my opinion. All the best sister~!

I'm rewatching the show afters several years and forgot most of it. The beast titan's introduction really shook me (again?). The most horrific scene in the show up to that point, and possibly beyond imo.

I'm personally a fan of S2E1 then Ilse's but I don't think it matters too much, just a different way to encounter some things. I suspect they're already into S2 though, given how they felt at the end of this ep XD

2024-01-17 18:27:46 +0000 UTCNow you have the choice: Either 1- Continue to season 2 episode 1 which is a direct continuation to this episode and delay the OVAs to be after season 2, in this case you can watch all the OVAs after season 2 except for the last one, OVA 8 which is better to be watched after season 3 episode 12. Or 2- Watch OVAs - up to OVA 5 only - and then start season 2. Note: OVAs 2 & 3 are just for fun and can be ignored for now and delayed until you finish the whole show as they have nothing to do with the main plot, even though, I personally love them just because they are so funny !

Happy for you that you get to continue, didnt have the luxury back then ^^ I think this generally also where people suggest you react to „AoT in 9 minutes“, a satirical YT video summarisation of S1 by Gigguk, a famous anime youtuber. Many reactors do it and I think its generally well received, not sure if its something you would be interested in, but now would be the time to do it ^^ I‘m enjoying the ride with you guys, believe it or not it only gets better from here. Most answers will have to wait quite a while, but when you get them, the will majke you love the show and its genius complexity even more ;) Cheers ladies

It took 4 years ignoring the one off OVA's released in that period until weekly viewers got a continuation of the main story.
