I don’t think it will be a plot of the show, they will probably leave it for a post credit scene. I think it is more of a teaser or a hook to the Secret Invasion show than a real plot point.

I loved the back and forth with Jenn and Bruce in this episode! I dont know if they'll explain it the same way in the MCU, but in the comics Bruce suffered from a toxic home environment and abuse from his father as a child. That was why when he became the Hulk, it manifested as a separate entity stemming from his abuse as a child due to all the suppressed and pent up rage. Jennifer didn't have that problem which is why she is naturally in control

I see it being set up then getting it resolved in something else Hulk related, my theory is he was on that planet for 2 years, maybe he met someone and they're looking for him, plenty of time to do some, Hulk...smashing.

That's exactly what I was thinking. We'll learn the mystery of why it's there in the show, but it will lead up to something for Bruce himself later.

If the whole origin story was swapped into episode 1 in post from episode 8, I suspect the initial plan was to delve into the origin in flashback while they dealt with the return of the alien ship in the present.

It could set up something really big for hulk but honestly I think the only time it’s gonna get mentioned is in a post credit scene. Keep in mind mark ruffalo was just a guest star and probably isn’t in any other episode
