One of the reasons Holt absolutely kills it in every episode is that Andre Braugher is a classically trained actor. Even though his timing and gravitas are written into the script he is nailing his performances because of his wealth of experience and early training.

I'm pretty sure Peretti said in an interview that she had a crush on Samberg at one point or another when they were young. She's not married to anyone on the show, but is married to Jordan Peele, as in "Get Out" Jordan Peele.
