All 3 of them came to be independent of each other and representing a necessary part of the cosmic balance. Amara was darkness so light came to be. Light was alive so death was also.I expect us to learn they are all part of the nothingness. I would find it annoying if they retconned retconned death and season 11 when you don't need to.
