Hunter x Hunter #19 Reaction Early Access!

Comments

I tried to click on the highlight reaction link and it just says Page Not Found. Anyone know why?

Hope they react to Darker than Black sometime down the road

omg shane does sound like killua, first, he said he doesn't get why the mood was much lighter although the situation is still basically the same, and then when the episode ended he said that he didn't get why hanzo surrendered and killua says the exact same thing at the beginning of the next episode. you guys should really be more careful when around him :-D

Except if the lines were like that in the manga. it kinda does not make sense. "By your age" sais nothing about when it did happen, only that he was younger than Gon is now. He could have been 11 or he could have been 5. So I don´t see how that is better.

"You guys want to do a bracket...I mean it's Hunter X Hunter, it might just fuck everything up halfway through." lol

Chinese Cartoons

I wouldn’t use Gon’s match as the standard for everyone else. Trying to hold out against an opponent vastly superior to you like Gon did has drawbacks. For starters if the beating gets too much and the person breaks and has to surrender their body could be too wrecked to continue on and they have to give up on the exam entirely because they cannot fight. If the person is accidentally killed their opponent may be disqualified but they can still take the exam next year while the person they killed is dead and has no more chances ever. People may just risk giving up on one match to fight another one they might have a better chance at winning. This exam is about determination and intelligence IMO. Sometimes knowing when to give up is just as important as never giving up. I think the final exam is structured like this to test determination and intelligence. Both are needed to be a Hunter. If Hanzo was as prideful and determined as Gon to win this match Gon would be dead and Hanzo would be disqualified. It was smarter for Hanzo to pass on his match with Gon and try his hand again on the next match. In a way Hanzo comes out looking better than Gon IMO.

When I first watched it it was okay but I loved it once I finished the show and rewatched it... it’s definitely better on a second view

I'm surprise the arena gets so much love. I mostly consider it as an exposition and the least interesting arc.

Doby Greg

I wouldn't have mind a pierced eye , some teeth pulled out or any permanent reminded but it is still an interesting match. It's kind of not not worth it for Hanzo when the opponent is too dumb to understand he should give up. Kurapika would stay onon sheer determination but with Gon I don't even think he register that as an option so there's no point.

Doby Greg

When Hanzo has his “by your age I’d already killed” line, Killuas internal response was different and better in the manga. In this he says “it’s not that big a deal” but in the manga he says “it took him that long?” And I actually almost died reading it

Man I hope they do a bracket none of them will get it right

Anthony Lujan

Hanzo's reasoning about gon on next ep might help to understand

Are-eem

Zoldck's first! It has good moments too.

Alexandre Boutin

My man shane would of tapped out if he was getting done like that for that long just like anyone else would in that situation. Its called torture, 99% people cant just take it as long as Gon did just cuz they want to win. The whole point is about Gon’s insane willpower and determination to not give up.

Kara59

So close to Heavens Arena, I can almost taste it.

Conner Simpkins

Boy will they be surprised next episode.
