2018-02-22 21:17:25 +0000 UTCSoon the prequel will end and the show will start, not saying it'll be good or bad, but this was planned as a story about sons of Ragnar Lothbrok and "known" historical events about northmen invasion (leaders of the Great Heathen Army were, supposedly, sons of Ragnar Lothbrok) and eventual conquest of England (Cnut the Great, who is not related to af Munso dynasty, finished it). Travis Fimmel was doing such a great job as Ragnar so the creators of the show, as I understand that's mainly Michael Hirst, prolonged his involvement in the show (I think it was supposed to be 3 seasons for Ragnar's storyline).

2018-02-22 16:35:41 +0000 UTCOh by the way the actors that plays Ivar and Hvitserk are Danish. The that plays as Sigurd is Swedish. The actor that plays as Floki is also Swedish. So there is a natural influence to their accents.
