Agreed. This episode is the worst of modern doctor Who finales and exposed Russell T Davies love of deux ex machina. It's a shame because the second half of Season 3 is really good up until that point. Season 4 and 5 are sweet, though, so looking forward!

Next week is the Christmas episode "voyage of the dammed". I am still really hoping the blind wave crew react to the mini episode " time crash" before hand. A funny little episode that finishes of the series nicely as well as (Spoilers) tells us a little more about the doctor

We never see what happens to the face of boa after the Doctor leaves. For all we know he revived off-screen. Also given that Jack's over 100 years old now, I doubt age carries over when he revives.

Problem with doing that is that they know watching the old episode with the Master had an ulterior motive of introducing the Master before his appearance in the modern series, so watching Genesis of the Daleks may spoil series 4 stuff

In the same way the master was set up for them, they should probably watch Genesis of the daleks to set themselves up for the end of S4. That would seem a sensible way to fill in the gaps.

Is there anyway there could be more Who and Torchwood, say when Punisher and Rick and Morty finish, another ep a week of each could take their place? Maybe I'm too impatient but otherwise it's going to take until June to hit #11 and TWO YEARS to get to where the show is now.

You guys HAVE to watch the mini episode that comes between this and the Christmas special that follows. Also I have heard (not sure but have heard) that they had planned to have Jack beheaded and his head just keeps living without the body and that would explain this revelation but if that was the plan they never followed through with it.
