When I originally saw it, I thought he got cut in the neck. I saw him move in the background, so I knew he wasn't dead yet. What went through my mind was: "Dude got his throat cut and he's still alive; that is one tough s-o-b." Then I saw the next episode and found out they only cut his cheek. Oh well.

I thought she slices his throat too at first but then they showed him looking at Fitz and holding his cheek and he actually got up at the end. Even if she cut his throat it was a butter knife and Jemma may be stronger now but not that strong.
