To add, the Steins;Gate 0 anime is not a good adaptation of the visual novel where the anime either condenses or cuts out major story plots and character development. There are moments where the anime does a better job than the visual novel though. Anonymous;Code would be a good visual novel to play for someone who has just watched or play Steins;Gate 0.

2025-06-24 03:36:59 +0000 UTCSteins;Gate and 0 wasn't actually adapted from a manga but rather a Visual Novel, so there's was never a state of "not knowing" because it stems from a completed game. This universe is actually part of a bigger series of games called the Science Adventure series or SciADV. You would know if a game or anime adaptation is a part of the SciADV by looking for the classic semicolon in each and every one of their titles. If you're looking into going deeper inside this universe I actually recommend you read the Visual Novels instead because Steins;Gate is the only good anime adaptation of the whole series
