I think the biggest problem with the show is that the premise and some of the setup makes the show seem like it’s going to be against AI in songwriting and about how authentic music written by people is better than overproduced generic songs with tons of autotune, but then doesn’t really do any of that. I mean there are moments when they do that, but it seems like show is more interested in just showcasing a large variety of music genres some more generic and overproduced and talk show how all of this music is good. It’s not really taking such a huge stance against the more generic types of songs, I think showcased by the show not really shying away from using autotune even in the songs that are trying to be more authentic. Personally I still pretty like the show, but it does heavily depend on how much cheese you can accept in a show, I like cheese so don’t mind at all when it leans in that direction, but I can understand how if you’re not such a fan of cheese how the show would fall flat in a lot of aspects.

2025-06-24 22:25:57 +0000 UTCCarole and Tuesday is a 5/10 for me i wouldn't recommend this but like Cowboy Bebop legacy lol (cowboy bebop is a favorite of mine and i want moar). I can't help but support and it's not bad but yea I agree. Michiko & Hatchin is similar (completely different but similar in legacy). It's not bad and they force people like me to support it but like BLAH. Nostalgia is a strong force indeed edit: another thing, at the time when i first watched this i didn't like carole and tuesday for the most part but i remember loving the last episode which is rare, usually i like the premise but anime usually fails to land the ending. That stood out to me

I just wish it was handled better in many ways. Rock is a Lady's Modesty has been a ton of fun and I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes a favorite. A much better 'music focused' anime than this.
