Mushishi is an older anime & it's not as talked about so idk if anyone has recommended it yet. It has episodic mysteries, and a really interesting unique fantasy chill horror vibe. There isn't another anime like it that I know of. It's seinen too, so much more mature than the typical popular shounen shows. And of course, really beautiful relaxing music.

2024-08-31 21:08:56 +0000 UTCSome top tier mystery type shows I'd recommend for you would be Odd taxi, Heavenly Delusion, From the new world, and Monster. Psycho pass and Summertime rendering could also work but they'd probably be better fit into the Steins Gate slot imo.

2024-08-31 03:52:52 +0000 UTCSomeone already said it earlier but yes Oddtaxi is amazing. Another off the wall pick that you might find slightly interesting is Rokka and the braves of the six flowers. At first it's just a typical fantasy anime, but suddenly it turns into a mystery where the characters have to deduce a traitor amongst them before they're killed off. Definitely an underrated anime imo. But I would also adore you watching Oddtaxi, I love that anime so much

It's pretty genius, might remind you a Guy Ritchie movie, but in anime medium. Baccano! is another one like that, and is definitely influenced by Guy Ritchie movies like Snatch.

But lots of twists and turns. I’ve been really enjoying it over the last two seasons.

The human race is frozen in stone for 3,700 years until in April 5738, when 16-year-old prodigy Senku Ishigami is suddenly revived to find himself in a world where all traces of human civilization have been eroded by time and now he has to rebuild humanity from the stone age.
