Yeah as someone who's watched anime for 10 years or so now since Jr high, there are quite a few quirks to anime that I've never really enjoyed, but you do just kinda get used to it and stop really thinking about it. Like for me, I've always disliked fan service, but now I barely blink twice or react or think anything of it anymore. I still don't enjoy it, but its just become a thing that I've just accepted as normal

People are not getting annoyed easily, they went out of their way to make him as annoying as possible. Even the characters around him think he's annoying lol. There's plenty of other ways to portray his anxiety and have him contrast with Tanjiro without literally turning every negative trait he has up to 11.

Ufotable is a animation powerhouse studio but I'm just not a battle shounen person myself (some exceptions) so I dropped this show and instead just keep up with the great animation cuts from this show through Sakugabooru, the genga being on there is a huge plus as well.

2024-08-30 17:27:09 +0000 UTCAlso that’s just his character. Like how tanjiro is consistently good hearted and empathetic, zenitsu is consistently anxious and panicky. It’s just a heavy contrast to everyone else and I find it hilarious. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea for their own reasons.

He was immediately my favorite character. Literally within the first 2 seconds of seeing him. Maybe because I can relate to him like with bocchi

But yea, his character seems to be the type where he starts out one way and grows so much that you're wondering how it's still the same character. I also think there's more than enough other stuff in the show to keep you in as well. That boar guy is my favorite character though, he's pretty damn cool already. Can't wait until you get further in.

I'm just a sucker for fun and different portrayals of superspeed in fiction and ufotable animates speed so satisfyingly well, especially later on in the show.

When he falls asleep, a separate personality takes over. We pray hes always asleep from now on lol Beast breathing. You'll learn more about that, but wild and free just like the character.

If its really bad i recommend just pressing the arrow keys lol, the dialogue from him when hes in that state isnt that important anyways. His obnoxious ass isnt worth dropping the show i promise!
