New Slave Route
Added 2024-03-07 19:42:24 +0000 UTCHello you beautiful people! How are you all doing today? We're hard at work finishing the delayed release, but I thought I'd come here to ask something that has been on our mind lately.
We've had many requests for submissive routes, and we delivered! With Evelyn, Yda, and Victor all being fully submissive or having a submissive option. However, we understand that all of those routes come very late in the game, plus they're hidden, freak in the sheets so to speak. We've been studying the idea of fixing something that has bothered me for a long time, and that is how Catherine's debt is basically irrelevant and gets written off the story pretty quick. Well, I mean, it's not irrelevant, it is the call to action that gets Catherine started on her journey, but you get what I mean.
To combat that, we've been considering the possibility of, rather than having just a bad end when you fail to pay, having Catherine fall onto a slave route until the time when she defeats the Daemons and gets into the good graces of the Emperor during the Battle of Batria. At that point, she would be freed from her bond, just like when the Emperor forgave her debt. Of course, nothing prevents her from continuing her arrangement in an informal way after that, maybe she fell in love with her previous owner?
So, anyway. Let us know what you think of that idea, should we put some effort into realizing it or should we just focus on the romance routes?

If Kyo was to become the master in this route, it would be great to see Eleanor in on the action, perhaps she see's Catherine in this new state and gets jealous, similarly to how she is in her sub route with Jeanne. Kyo getting both Cath and Eleanor as a sub/slave

2024-03-12 13:09:58 +0000 UTCPresumedly Jean would have to be her initial ower until the battle of Batria, or at least until he proves unfit to own a slave, or loses her through sone other way (gambling? Jean's father selling her off as punishment for a misdeed on Jean's part?). And I can totally see Kyo buying her up to keep her safe after that. I don't believe Kyo has a romance path yet, so that would be perfect. Would make for some interesting changes when Jean gets enslaved. They could both belong to Kyo then (potentially giving Catherine a way out at this point if she desires it to get back at the one who got her into this position in the first place). Though on second thought it could just be changed so Jean never purchases her debt. Would allow for a more focussed path with one Owner. Though I'll still advocate for Kyo, and the potential dynanics of her enslaving Jeanne too.
