Sketch Process - Dante the officer

So you'll see I actually need a lot improvement for my anatomy skill *cough*

I often start without any anatomy reference and just rely on my ideas, and after the basic pose is defined, I start to use some anatomy figures for more detailed reference. (Like this one from 3dtotal shop) And when it's almost done, I check the pose again and found it's a bit off. So I use a 3D model viewer to check where is causing the problem.

Notice that it is very important to NOT rely on any reference for starting your idea. Just let it out freely, even it'll be ugly at some point XD

I made this video unlisted on YT, and please don't share it publicly.

Thanks! I'm just starting using soundcloud, it's a paradise for ambient music!

The fact that you post the music that you listened to is my absolute favorite thing. ♥

Thank you! I like to sketching a lot, and Dante is always my muse of creating, so I really enjoy doing this one :)

I've always been such a fan of your line art and the rhythm you always seem to find in your pictures! Its fascinating seeing you make decisions and adjust and correct things as you go along refining! Also, its been really incredible to see how you're able to keep that same energy from the sketch and just refine it, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next!

I do like your attention to detail. It looks like you're learning as you go, which is the whole point of art. :)

Thanks, I'm actually nervous to show this process haha... I just want to show that I modified my sketches a lot, and the start looks nothing like the result XD

It's funny because to me, your anatmoy every single time is absolutely perfect and everything you draw is divine ;3; <3
