TEW2 fanbook WIP
Added 2018-04-23 16:50:53 +0000 UTCI'm currently working on the TEW2 fanbook...and yeah it's delayed.
This project was announced on tumblr & my website in January, after all the outcome was horrible, even the paper prints of the cover look bad (mostly my fault, kinda mess up with the RGB to CMYK conversion) and I needed to pay about 400 USD for the failed covers. Just like all bad luck happened on this one project.
After that I spent time to learn how to draw better on Paintstorm Studio. I originally planned to made it on SAI 2, but the inking was too clean and...robotic? In CSP it's even worse. (not sure how to describe it better)
Anyway I started my Patreon page mostly because I'm now happy enough with my inking, so I can regularly release comic pages...finally. Though every page may take me about two days to finish and it's kinda unlikely I can finish 5+ pages before the end of April...I'll do my best though!
And sorry if the first two panels give you a nightmare. XD
沒錯我現在才算正式動工TEW2本。
原因是一開始畫的內頁效果實在是不能見人，自從把繪圖螢幕從二十二吋換成十三吋以後我好像反而畫不出任何東西(痛哭)加上先送印的封面基本也是印壞了，當初趕著要印沒看打樣，最後白花約台票一萬二印出不能用的封面(總之就是轉CMYK出現嚴重色差問題，這封面基本上也要重做了)，做這本的運氣簡直不能再糟。
後續幾個月我嘗試學怎麼利用Paintstorm Studio獨有的優勢來克服畫不好線稿的問題，目前終於比較滿意自己畫出來的線稿了...但我每一頁大概還是要花兩天製作，所以在四月底前趕五張出來恐怕有點困難囧
總之我我我會盡力趕的！
然後不好意思最先放出來的這兩格內容一點都不美觀xD

It seems that because the publishing speed of Japanese manga is incredibly fast, so CSP is designed to "help artists making mangas very fast". But fast & mechanical drawings often lose something that a slow-and-steady drawing can offer.

Despite the hype of it being a comic-centric program, I find it over-complexing things unnecessarily. (Sorry to hear about the bad print run. I'm glad Patreon is helping though!)
