this show is beyond amazing, the storytelling, the acting, the shots just everything. it brings out every bit of emotion inside of you. and the fact that I don't hear/see people bring this show up that much still irritates me. this is in my top as one of my all-time fav kdramas. so glad we r starting this journey.

Kim Sael Byeol is the real life Trauma Cleaner. He has a YT Channel and has been in a few K-documentaries. He is popular in Lonely Death cleaning. Very sad reality are shown in YT channel and he does the same thing like in the drama, wherein he prays for the deceased before he start cleaning.

Autism awareness month is in April and the day is April 2. This show is based on a book “things left behind” it’s about the stories from a trauma cleaner that does the same thing as our main character cleaning after someone passes away. It is emotional show that will pull on your heartstrings for sad moments and happy moments. I loved that it shows what happens next because we always see people die but what they leave behind can be so painful and the business they run is so beautiful by creating these boxes that hold this person valuables what makes them and it brought into perspective on what defines you what objects would go into my box.

No cuz this WILL BE THE ONE Jef....I just KNOW one of these episodes will make you cry (IF not more than just one). And I also kind of predict that Tobi will probably cry every single episode multiple times per episode so please always have a tissue box nearby cuz he's gonna need them 😅😆 I'm very serious when I'm telling you, guys....I cried for 99% of this series.....every.single.episode! But I have one episode that DESTROYED MY SOUL...I had to get a break after that .....It was also the episode that got me watching the whole series (I saw a little short edit on TikTok and I searched for the series)......mind you I thought this series will be a cute little funny one since the edit was CUTE and had HAPPY vibes!!! I had no idea what I was getting into with this one....but I don't regret ANYTHING! I love this series so much and I honestly hope you'll enjoy it too 😊

you know what, both of the adult actors, the father and the new one are great actors. The father played the legendary role of the Admiral Yi Sun Shin, who was a heroic admiral of the sea during their war with japanese (you can even see the statue of the admiral in seoul standing tall) and the actor played that role very well and gained a huge fame, that series was a hit and it was so good to see the history of the admiral and his ways of fighting against japan. The other one is an actor I really enjoy watching his actings and series, like Signal and Taxi driver are literally the best ones out there. I love the actors but i stopped watching this series after ep 1 back when it was released because i did not want to have my mental health damage anymore lmao ps i cried 3 times in this ep, thanks guys i am tired now lol

It call REVENANT it's about a young woman possessed by an entity and a profesor of folklore who can see ghosts...together they seek the truth behind mysterious suicides surrounding the city,i don't know if you guys will take recommendation from DISNEY SERIES but REVENANT is a must watch...it got good rating and many hyping it up right now even in their first ep🔥have 12 ep and last ep already air like a week ago

HAHHAA JEFF THIS IS GOING TO BE THE ONE!!! anyways to give you more context, in Korea, funerals are separated into two rooms, one with the picture of the deceased as you saw and one with a place filled with tables where people can eat. The room with the picture is where people send their condolences by bowing and where you will find the family member (Geu-ru was wearing the yellow band when his father died to signify as a family member of the deceased). It is custom in Korea to serve food and drinks to those who come to the funeral. This gives people a chance to talk over food and mourn for the deceased. Of course more etiquette is involved but this is just an explanation for the funeral scene! Thank you for your reaction to this! It means everything!

Geu-Ru and his dad are "Death Cleaners", professionals who take care of a person's belongings after they pass. The way the perform their job is so admirable. They pray for the dead and make sure to treat their personal space with the utmost respect. The things they put in the yellow box basically reflect the life and personality of the deceased, their essense. I just love how empathetic they are to that person and his/her dreams and memories. Before watching this show, I had only read about this type of service on the internet, in an article about lonely deaths in Japan. Apparently, there are so many people who die there all alone, without anyone noticing or caring that sometimes they are found weeks or months later, even years. It's a little comforting to know that eventually, someone tends to those people but it's so heartbreaking to me that they took their last breath without anyone giving a damn. The stories of the dead in this show are incredibly sad, you're gonna need a lot of tissues. But in the end, the beauty that comes from the deeper meaning of this show, about human life, love and compassion is what really matters. You won't forget this show. Ever. It stays with you.
