Cozy Nook - Process ✨🦊 + Phone Wallpapers + Shop Update

Hello Patrons! 🧡

I hope you’re all having a good week so far! I finally finished my latest painting! This was a home stretch since it seems like June ended so fast!!  😅

For this painting, I really wanted to challenge myself with a wide-angle perspective. I want to try to create more interesting compositions in the future since I think I can really play around with imagining world-building! 🧡

I went to the library recently and borrowed a bunch of middle-grade graphic novels and children’s books. I want to try publishing my own graphic novel one day so I wanted to use it as an inspiration! 📚

The library brought back so many memories of when I was a child! I would borrow so many children’s books! I think it’s funny how it comes full circle because I am still borrowing children’s books to this day haha 💕✨

Anyway, going to the library sparked my imagination to recreate that feeling of magic so I wanted to try to replicate that in this painting! 🧡✨

Originally, I wanted to just paint a cozy space but I wanted to bring in some elements of magic storytelling and my culture! I added some patterns from the Philippines, parol (Christmas star), and some baskets! 🇵🇭🧺🌺
