Hello June! 🌼

It’s a new month and I’m so excited because lots of things are happening in June! Lately, I’ve been overthinking a lot of my painting ideas so I took a break and decided to pick up on some hobbies such as the clay hobby, and went back to baking! I signed up for a class in two weeks and I’m so excited to learn how to pipe flowers! 🧁 Having a few breaks from art makes me excited to try out new painting ideas! 🥰

I won't be opening the shop this month since I want to focus on painting and sketching and plannng on doing a shop opening next month!

Paitning WIP

Yesterday, I started scribbling some new ideas for a painting and had the idea of painting a garden inspired by Blue and White Porcelain pottery 💙

I will be drawing inspiration from a Chinese garden and will be adding blue and white motifs! I’ll also be drawing a few little bunnies! 🐇🐇

Here’s the sketch so far:

In sketch 1, I wanted to focus on the character but decided to expand the canvas so we could see more of the garden!

For the past few months, I’ve been working on some book covers, I want to show you a sneak peek of a couple of them! 😊

Previously, I did the first cover of Best Wishes by Sarah Mlynowski and got the chance to illustrate the second cover! This second cover is co-written by Debbie Rigaud! Super excited to show you the reveal! 😊

THE FROST FAIR

The second book cover reveal is called “The Frost Fair,” written by Natasha Hastings and published by HarperCollins. I am SO happy with how this book cover came out! ❄️❄️ The designer and team gave me a lot of creative freedom with this one so I’m excited to share it! You're the first to see it hehe! I will be revealing it on social media soon!
