Also another cool easter egg, Emilia in this trial looks younger, since she's mentally 13/14. It's because she grew a bit physically while she was frozen. Physically she's around 18 though.

Part of her contract with puck was that she was to avoid mirrors and large bodies of water, which you could infer was to stop her from seeing her own image. That's why she was surprised that she looked different from Fortuna as she dove into the water. An easter egg going forward with the show - prior to this episode - during the ED when emilia took subaru's hand, there was no reflection. After this episode, you can see the reflection of them holding hands.
