Slight Change of Mind

Work is continuing, though I’m having lots of financial issues and have had to take on a couple of character design commissions to help out with that. They’re not really getting in the way of writing at least since I’m working on them when I don’t feel like writing, anyway, but yeah.
I wanted to announce that I was a bit too lofty in my preproduction plans. I’ve already done 20k+ words of preproduction, and simply put, I don’t think my adhd brain can handle much more than that at the current moment. I had this big idea that I would outline all the Clouded Soul books at once but I feel that was very naive of me. I still do have the rough idea of the entire flow and the (soft) ending in mind, but I think if I don’t start on an outline for vol 1 soon it’s going to make me go crazy. Maybe doing it in chunks will free up my mind to work on more background stuff I need as well, but I’m going to do a little of it today and see where it goes. I just don’t feel like writing a big bio for Mei yet and planning out her arc/the second book as detailed as I did with Miao. Not right now, anyway.
