City Church [14x20] [Two Floors] [Doctor's Stash]

All map variations:Three weeks of seemingly endless journey ended at the gate of Torncastle. Once a mighty stronghold, cultural and trade capital of the South-West, now a rogue town of ghosts, cutthroats and criminals. Grizkh was joyfully feeding pigeons and birds seemed to love him.

I shrouded my face in a shawl I found in one of the dungeons and tried to lead the way – I was never in Torncastle. Grizkh followed me, but after a while, he instinctively guided us through narrow alleys, a shortcut. We found ourselves in the courtyard of a great church, its walls scribbled with childish nonsense and cultist invocations. He fixed his eyes on the entrance.

„Grizkh, you know this place?“

„You know, Aaron, I once wanted to be useful.“ Giant man was smaller all the sudden.

„What do you mean, useful? You are.. To me. Yes. Surely, to me.“ My words were never sharp.

„This place was once a Paladin Academy.“ Small tear left his eye.

„What happened?“ I had problems picturing him as a man of God, but what he said next broke my heart.

„They said my race is incapable of kindness.” He gently fed the last crumb to the hungry bird on his shoulder and headed to the, I was sure as Sun, nearest tavern.

Dear patrons, followers and wanderers,

Last map of August! This one is special to us. We have made a small rotation in the Armor Set battlemaps, and we are reliving the old idea of Shield shaped church. As it symbolized shelter and safety through the centuries, we used this much needed symbol in these chaotic times (you don't have to be religious to recognize it as it is).

This map can fit every campaign and we had so much fun creating it. Map has two floors (yes, again!) and a total of 8 variations (7 variants and one empty, as usual) and it can serve as a temple, church or cathedral in your campaigns. Also, we made a map of a fortified town as a bit of experiment, which we will release tomorrow, as a completely FREE map!

As usual, you will loot night versions, gridded and gridless, Hi-Res print-ready PDFs and the Foundry Module, with walls and lightning pre-configured so you can add it to your campaign stress-free!
