How I've seen Rule of Two justified is that pushes a Sith to seek out the highest-quality candidate for their apprentice, train them up to the point where the Apprentice can overwhelm their Master and slay them, then repeat the process until the point is reached where you have a being powerful enough and steeped in the Dark Side enough to be basically invincible. Plus, the Sith limit any possible sources of dissension to only one possibility. But yeah...the Rule of Two is a system mired too deeply in the idea that teamwork and unity are icky to really breed any truly long-term results because the whole "strength replaces strength" mentality means you eventually reach a point where the Apprentice is someone like Palpatine, who decides they can shorten the timetable or that they're the pinnacle of Sith teachings and declare themselves the Sith'ari.

2025-06-20 05:39:52 +0000 UTCI never actually understood the full thought process behind the Rule of 2. It just seems like it holds the Sith back to be honest. Best to take Ahsoka and some other ladies that are promising as apprentices. Put all that future knowledge to good use.

We might even help the Nightsisters and the Mandolorians but with conditions. (Find Ventress before Dooku and Remove Pre with also taking the DarkSaber so Maul never has the Chance)

Besides...Anakin can make it up to Obi-Wan by teaming up with his wife to get Satine back together with him and install him as Duke Consort of Mandalore 😉
