When Jin paused and looked directly into the camera during his live performance…he just about pierced our fragile souls.

Guys... before the concert starts, the 1h ish before the show starts they play their MV's and songs.... so what you had watched is the ARMY's singin alongside a video.. AND we are so godman loud (and i am so proud of that).. Being an ARMY showed me how to appreciate a singer or a rapper. When i go to a live show of n singer/ rapper that comes to my own country/ county/ city, i am giving my all damn knowledge of their discography. even if i look like a weirdo or a lunatic :))) giving respect to an artist, as much as you can or as much as you know, /i/ think is the highest respect for them...

I'm hoping there'll be a surprise reaction to Awake even though it didn't win the poll, because I think it was the moment I became BTS Army. It was the first time that I, a perpetual overachiever with imposter syndome and deepseated terror that I'll fail everyone in my life, felt heard, felt like someone else in the world understood how I felt. To this day, when I feel overwhelmed, I'll sing the bridge to myself and it usually helps calm me down.

When I hear this song I always get a lump in my throat that burns and tears in my eyes. Sometimes I just have to cry it out. When I am feeling down or bad about myself I will listen to it. I love the melody and Jin’s voice-like it lulls me back to reality of taking care of myself and looking for the blessings. Once I heard this song I started searching for other BTS songs (at the time I didn’t realize Dynamite was them!). I find myself only listening to BTS….no matter what the situation or mood I can find a song (or songs) to listen to. I never liked rap until listening to them. Of course, I still can’t listen to any other rap lol. I am in awe every day of these 7 young men, that started out as boys, that can touch people’s hearts, make them feel better about themselves, make them laugh or cry, and as an American I don’t understand the songs until I read the lyrics! As I have seen written before….I am in this Bangtan sh** for life! Thank you again for another amazing reaction! You guys are truly the best! 💜💜

Epiphany, The Truth Untold and Outro: Tear, 3 highly emotional songs that they put back to back and that make me uncontrollably sob every single time. The clip that you saw of ARMYs singing was from before the concert even started. They tend to play BTS Music Videos before the show and people sing along already, it's magical. As far as I know, he did write the lyrics for the Demo himself, and I love that he was comfortable enough to share it with us. Epiphany does mean the world to me. This song, and Jin in general, has helped me a lot in finding self acceptance and self love, and while it is a journey and kind of a life long process, I think I'm on a good path. He is just so unapologetically himself....the oldest who is very mature and very childish, who loves to make others love, who is one of the biggest stars in the world but gets shy as heck around new people, who reads webtoons at a party and leaves early, who wrote a song about fishing as a joke... He makes me feel so comfortable being myself, no matter what others might think about me.

There's actually the climax song off of Love Yourself: Answer album called...Love Yourself: Answer lol. Its the final conclusion to the series of the LY series and in my opinion, the song that answers to both Serendipity & Singularity. It does have rap, singing, the whole bts dish. But what makes it special is truly the lyrics and melody of the song. Its a song that will forever be one of my favorites. Its a happy crying type of song. It was like 2am when I sat down and listened to it with the lyrics going and just cried cause I was thankful and regretful to myself that I held out so long before finally being told that it’s okay to love who you are. The other OT7 song that had the same emotional effect is Answer: Love Myself. But Jin singing in an almost intimate way that holds ur hand and tells you that you are a precious soul. Whew. Yea. My family and I were homeless, living in a hotel at the time, and it was a depressing time for us. I was alone in the hotel room one day and I heard a snippet of Epiphany on tiktok. I fell in love with the song so I looked BTS up on Amazon music and everything is magic from there. Epiphany didn’t stop there with being a song that means so much to me. It sparked an old passion I had for playing the flute. I used to play from 5th grade to 9th, then I stopped for about 7 years. I forgot how to read music and how to play as well as before but one day I was listening to Epiphany and I thought about how beautiful it would be to be able to play it on my flute. How much of a full circle and meaningful moment it would be for me. So I purchased a new flute (cuz my old one broke) and I started getting reacquainted with what I would say is one of my old, if not my first, loves. I’m 22 now, I stopped playing around age 15. It’s been almost another year since I decided to learn Epiphany on my flute and with life in the way I can’t dedicate the time I’d like to it. But recently I’ve been trying to do things that’ll make me happy. That will ease my mind and comfort me. So I’ve been learning. I now know how to play it! It’s not the best yet, but it’s beautiful. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank Seokjin enough for one, bringing BTS and ARMY into my life and two, sparking my love and passion for playing music again. I owe him everything and more, as I do the entire group. Jin’s impacted my life more than he’ll ever know. I have the utmost respect and gratitude for him. Anyways thank you both for the video. 2022-12-07 04:54:33 +0000 UTCarmy was crying and then epiphany was followed by the truth untold (vocal line)... omg it was so heavenly. jin's voice was crystal clear, piercingly beautiful and beautifully piercing... and i know thousands of souls felt the way i did when witnessing this performance live. unforgettable. you're right, guys... it's "close to spiritual..." that's the right word. 😭 the entire love yourself speak yourself concert was a gorgeous blend of high energy and spilling love and emotions. that's what i was like. one moment i'm dancing and the next, i have tears in my eyes... then back to singing and dancing and crying and... oh man... endlessly remarkable through and through, add the love and support of armys around... it's an experience i wish for anyone to have in this world.

This song definitely stands alone and gives you goosebumps alone, but when you hear it in the context of the Love Yourself series, it'll blow your mind. Witnessing Jin singing Epiphany was so moving that I had tears in my eyes...It's truly ARMY favorite song becuase its about self-love. As Jordan said "...being there is spirtual enlightment," would be the best way to descibe being there to witnessing Epiphany live. Furhermore, I just want to say there is a big reason why all the members love Epiphany beacuse each of the members have gone through so much, and even RM struggled to love themselves. I have the lyrics “I’m the one I should love in this world” tattooed on my arm so I can look at it every day and be reminded of the fact that I should always have confidence and love for myself. I also have the lyrics “You gave me the best of me, so you’ll give you the best of you.” from Magic Shop on my other arm. It probably was fate because BTS then announced their concert and it happened to fall on the last day of my Busan stay which made my trip even more meaningful and special. That decision was difficult to do, the fact that I had to leave my kids for 10 days but it was something I really needed, and it was all so worth it. That was me loving myself!

All of the BU videos can stand alone as beautiful videos. And most people who connected with BTS before Epiphany discovered the BU videos in whatever order they came across them; that's how I did it. The BU is a puzzle that, in my opinion, is best discovered as a puzzle without explanations and the order doesn't matter as you work out the puzzle. I think the explanation videos can spoil the fun of the puzzle. Jin said once when asked what English word he has the most trouble with, said it is epiphany. And I love the way he says it: e-pip-hany And I have Epiphany tattooed on my arm! My first and only tattoo!

2022-12-07 00:00:06 +0000 UTCYou're right - When they're doing demos, it's often about the melody, not the words - so they just use English words that they like, and that flow nicely together to express the melody. English flows a little better than Korean when trying to get a melody down, which is why some of their demos will be in all English but not make much sense. But yes, Jin wrote the demo! He explained in a livestream (Unfortunately I can't find a quick link to just that section of the livestream) that he was given the beat, and made up various options for melodies by singing into his phone - this demo was the one that he developed the most (to the point of recording it in the studio), but in the end Hitman Bang's version was chosen. The clips of army singing that you watched were done while the MV was playing before the concert started - but you CAN find clips of army singing along with Jin's performance too. They're all really amazing. On the path to loving myself, I am doing OK! BTS has helped a lot by giving me stuff to think about, and also songs to sing when I'm having a rough day.

It was so amazing being a part of this during LA concerts, we went crazy 🤣 almost lost my voice before the show even started practicing fan chants 😬😆 Brazilian army's do the best fan chants and sing along the best during performances I swear, someday you should check out the fancams.

I'll never forget that feeling because everyone around me was crying 😭 The ending song for Love yourself tour was called Answer: Love Yourself and for the extended tour it was Mikrokosmos. At a BTS concert they play the music videos and some songs before the appear for a good 30 minutes and when epiphany comes on everyone sings their hearts out!

When the tone hits as he’s at the top of the stairs, he has his Epiphany. I think the demo could be a stand alone song itself. Their his feelings, his words, his heart. 2022-12-06 23:29:01 +0000 UTCi actually don’t actively listen to this song as much as i could, because it overwhelms me a lot and takes me back to when it was released: the year for myself as well as the year for bts and what that meant for us all collectively and individually. so it’s been some time since i put on some headphones and listened to it; but doing so to see your reaction (because u guys ARE the best out there) i was once again reminded of the genuine power behind this song. the build up that almost swells inside of you and makes emotions you haven’t paid attention to/ignored want their release. it makes me feel a lot. i can’t even imagine what the feeling must be like to be in a massive crowd and hear those words in unison. it would definitely be an unforgettable experience.

What is even more astounding to me is not only that 70,000 people were compelled to sing those lyrics together, but that they were in a primarily English speaking venue singing perfectly along in Korean! (Japanese album check those songs out) At the concerts they each share a solo time which gives the others time to rest... not really cuz they watch each other on the screen behind the stage cheering each other on. You should hear what they say to Jimin when he gets all sexy. RM loves it the most because he wrote serendipity and Jimin performs it very sensually.
