Bon Voyage! | Our Reaction to Episode 2 (Season 1)

Today, we consume another hearty episode of what is quickly becoming our favorite BTS-related series: BON VOYAGE!

Quick Note: Thank you to all of you who recommended that we purchase all of Season 1 of Bon Voyage on Weverse. We did just that. However, we quickly discovered that Weverse restricts any form of screen recording, so we instead utilized the 3rd party link that you all sent our way!

Here are our one-word descriptions of today’s episode:

JORDAN’S WORD: Optimism…We’re starting to notice a common trend of the members misplacing or forgetting various personal items—Jimin with his luggage, Hobi with the tickets, and RM with his sunglasses/bag! And each time, we’ve been expecting these incidents to evoke panic and dismay within the members. However, the exact opposite keeps happening. They have remained composed, OPTIMISTIC, and incredibly proactive in finding solutions.

JARED’S WORD: Gratitude…Can any of you relate to that feeling of immense gratitude that comes from accomplishing seemingly trivial successes in new or foreign lands? Things like…using a credit card to pay for lunch, locating the correct bus to transport you from point A to point B, communicating with a local resident in their native language. Perhaps our bodies are wired to take for granted each of these acts when they occur in environments that we are familiar with, and to become extremely grateful for them when they occur in unfamiliar environments.

While V finally joins the crew in Bergen, Norway in this episode, one question we were still left with…WHERE IS SUGA!? (Don’t spoil the answer for us if we’ll find out in Episode 3) 😉

ARMY, please continue sharing your travel experiences with us in the comments below!

1. Where are you from?

2. Where in the world have you traveled?

3. What unique, funny, or interesting travel stories do you have?

WE HAVE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED READING ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCES. Also…Kecia, we’re eagerly waiting to hear more details from you about your movie-like experiences.

As always, we truly appreciate your love and support (WE’LL CONTINUE SAYING THIS UNTIL THE END OF TIME). Your subscription allows us to produce higher-quality reaction videos, and moves us closer to our goal of doing this full-time! Let us know if you have any questions, feedback, thoughts, etc. at any time! BORAHAE!! 💜💜

I love Bon Voyage and In the Soop. I hope you will watch it weekly. To answer your questions: Since I live in Germany (kind of the middle of Europe), it‘s easy to travel from here. I was in many different European countries like Spain, Belgium, France, Greece, Finland, Netherlands, Austria, Ireland. I traveled also to England, Russia (the asian part of Russia), the Canary Islands like Gran Canaria and Tenerife. My dream goal in the next few years is a backpacker trip through Asia. I have a few stories, but the most interesting one happened in Ireland. I was in Ireland for a week because I visited a friend who studied there at that time. It was the time when the Icelandic volcano emitted smoke and ash for months and the wind conditions drove the cloud towards the UK and continental. All the flights were cancelled and I couldn‘t flight back to Germany. My friends and I had the idea that we make something great out of the situation. We had enough time off because it was the break between the semesters. So we decided to stay longer and made a spontaneous backpacking tour without any prepared plans from East to West and then to South Ireland, where we went by boat to England and travelled all the way back to Germany from there. It was a great experience to master a situation without any plans in a different country.
