2. Who would have thought that Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio and Suga all have something in common?
3. Forget all of the references to Korean history, film, etc...the only reference that matters today is JK's painting of BANG PD that made its way into the Daechwita MV and Live Performance.
4. Please don’t tell us that the sword Suga was using in his Dance Practice video was real.
5. The English translation of "Daechwita" simply does not do justice to the beauty and complexity of the Korean language.

You should react to a historical movie(Mascharade) or doramas (like Hwarang), the South Korean series of 16 episodes. SKorea is more than Kpop. And yes, ARMY feels the urge to study Korean and go deeper in the meaning of words.

I love watching series myself, and it ranges from action, to comedy, romance and more, but my favorites are thrillers. I would say China does the best the historical drama. Honestly, you should indeed maybe think to start reacting a series if you want (generally, series in South Korea are no more than 16 episodes and only one season) out of curiosity.

There was another performance at the 'SOWOOZOO' where all of the members did J-Hope's song "Chicken Noodle Soup". I love seeing all of them showing support for others solo work. Just wanted to point out that they didn't skip any part of the song even though it might have been a little hard to memorize ... proving once again how hard-working and dedicated they are 💜 For something fun, you could watch 2020 Festa, they go to a Karaoke booth, and the members were instructed that they could only sing each other's songs. I cant wait for you guys to get more of an idea of their personalities because Suga absolutely did not beg Jin and Jungkook to be in the video 🤣🤣😂 Jin is known to say things like this knowing full well that that’s not how it went down hahahaha. And y’all will get to see an excited Yoongi as you get into more of the run episodes, the man is hilarious, especially when he bickers with Jimin. I think what Yoongi meant about Daechwita being for auditory pleasure is that it’s arguably the “banger” of the album in his eyes. Audibly it has the trap sound, the traditional music in the background and has non stop flow changes. As an audible experience it’s the full package, but I also think he said this because there are much deeper songs on the album than Daechwita, as great as the lyricism is on the song. I kind of know what he meant in that sense. I’m excited to see what’s next up for Suga reactions 🤩

I own a couple of swords and you usually get them blunt and sharpen them yourself or get it done for you. But for safety sake you never just get handed a sharp sword, especially if the person isn't qualified.

Let me just say, I ENJOYED. Daechwita was one of the first songs I checked out when becoming ARMY. I remember just walking though campus with Agust D spitting in my headphones on full volume. Boy, the number of times I got so hype walking to class and then having to suppress it because Suga had me feeling like I was royalty myself lolll. No but laughs aside, I love this song so much as well as D-2. I remember taking a hugeee detour when starting my journey because I just had to continue consuming Suga. His music is what made him my first bias claim and I will never forget the feelings he gave me while discovering his masterful solo discography. You both are in for a ride going down the Yoongi lane. Anyways, thank you for the reaction. I often find myself never wanting your videos to end cuz then I'm like, well now what am I supposed to do ( sorta like the slang word discussed in the explanation video lol). I always look forward to new uploads, thank you for being a part of my days and for providing me entertainment and escape. You guys crack me up! It's always so fun. 2022-11-13 19:37:05 +0000 UTCIf you want to hear the rap line singing vocal line parts, they did a karaoke for the 2020 Festa where that happened. It's a lot of fun to watch that one. The shooting sketches are posted a few days after the MV drops, not before. They give ARMY some time to analyze the video and develop theories and then they post the shooting sketches and other content, so we can see if our theories are right or wrong or a bit of both. The BTS Universe story line required ARMY to analyze MVs and try to find clues and Easter eggs throughout BTS videos. Nowadays, BTS videos tend to all be puzzles, or at least have puzzles in them, for us to figure out. Like Jin's recent song "The Astronaut". The MV includes the use of braille to say "ARMY" and "For ARMY". in it. There are also the Easter eggs, like the guitar that Chris Martin gave Jin. It's a lot of fun for us to try and figure out. And it's done in a way that it doesn't really matter if you don't want to dig that deeply into the MVs. Yoongi does get excited on occasion. He's just a lot less excitable than the others. As you continue to watch episodes of Run! BTS, you'll see him get excited and/or energetic several times. Lots more content to go through.

Jin was so touched 🥹🤧💜 6. Dance Practice- I think the sword is real as it's been made by a real sword craftsman. But maybe they can make the blade not so sharpened so it wouldn't cut anything. Coz it was obviously heavy as Yoongi got blisters afterwards and he found it difficult to make a "slice move". He really slayed that sword dance!! 🙌💜 7. Lastly, as we watch more and more with you, both y'all are getting more and more comfy! So those waivers won't be of any use now!! We love you both for whatever chaos you show, we could care less! It's a whole story of BTS going against the rotten Kpop system. I am so amazed at how my genius bias wrecker portrayed everything so spot on! My 7 quick points: 1. That's Tae-chwita you guys!! He was damn serious with his role and his rap part!! 🤧 Lol I can remember when I watched this concert, I was crying due to too much laughter 😭😂🤣 2. It's true, the boys always see to it that they have a special surprise for ARMY every muster. It's like a tradition 🥹💜 And they always go all out in their concerts. I admire their production team too! 3. I felt so effing proud of Hobi too in that part he did (the soft voice fast flow rap). He's the only one who could give justice to that omg!! He's so hot for that 🔥 4. MV sketch- I was laughing sooo much when both of you did not recognize JinKook at all! And I think Jin was just teasing Yoongi when he said that Yoongi was begging them to appear in his video. I commented all this on YouTube, but I feel like I need to do it here too! 🥲 but omg, I can’t even imagine what it’ll be like when they hear his other stuff like Interlude: Shadow and D-2 🥲. I feel like they’ll combust 😭….. in a good way 💜😅 But seriously, Yoongi is a genius. I hesitate to call him a ‘machine’ because of the negative connotation the word holds within the kpop industry. But I feel like the only way I can describe Yoongi sometimes, is a music making machine (in the most complementary way ever). The man is so beyond talented, it’s insane. Truly the epitome of someone who lives and breathes music. His production rate and on top of that, consistent high quality (to the point that they call him “the hand of Midas” because all the music he touches turns to gold) is just unbelievable. The music he makes and reserves for himself is absolutely god-tier, but when we also take into account that the sheer amount of music he makes, allows him to give music to people who ask him for it, AND to take a track to a specific artist he thinks it would suit (e.g. That That - PSY ft and prod Suga) it really just shows you the scope and depth of this man’s talent and dedication to his craft. And that’s not even mentioning his OSTs and compositional work for games, webtoons Samsung etc….. He’s just 🤯🤯🤯

2022-11-13 13:34:42 +0000 UTCWhenever SUGA and Namjoon refer to auditory pleasure more than lyrical, I don't necessarily believe that they consider the lyrics irrelevant. At this point, I don't think they could write meaningless lyrics even if they tried.💜 But considering the emotional labour that they put into the majority of their songs, I can see how they would consider e.g. Joke and Daechwita lyrics as more light-weight and perhaps not the pinnacle of their efforts. In Daechwita, I am sure SUGA spent a considerable amount of time on incorporating the traditional music with the modern beat and while I do consider the lyrics absolutely amazing, I agree that the music and his voice and flow changes (as you pointed out) indeed make the song special. ✨

So maybe you might want to add in other behind the scenes MV sketches, like the one for Jin's The Astronaut (https://youtu.be/0BZKOnSs2ooand) Jhope's MORE (https://youtu.be/jl8GHkEguXE). They all show great examples of how BTS members support each other throughout their solo work - something very rare in an industry where ego often jeopardises a group's relationship with each other. The way BTS members always show up for one another really inspires me to be a better friend! 🌈 Looking forward to the rest of your journey, and yes, you still haven't even scratched the surface yet 🤣

2022-11-13 09:59:38 +0000 UTCsuga said daechwita is more for auditory satisfaction only because in the d-2 album, there are songs that are actually more profound in terms of lyricism. yeah, daechwita isn't even peak lyricism for him despite the deep references of this track. hahaha simply put, you got to check out the entire album. it's wonderful! one of my faves is his collab with rm in said album. the title of the song is "strange." 💜 oh, it's a real sword that's why it came from a craftsman. i was so worried watching this too, the first time. my only comfort is when the sword dance practice dropped, i already knew suga wasn't hurt in the process. hahahaha

We all struggle as you do when watching for the first time. Next time, for RM release make sure to watch all the teaser before watching the actual MV to experience the real feeling.

Suga says "you'll see in the MV" because the music video still hasn't come out when he said that as they were filming it right then 😭 since you're catching up, you have the option to watch either or first but when a MV first gets released, we have to wait a little bit before seeing behind videos. I personally think it's more fun to watch the music videos first and make my own theories and analysis and then watch the MV sketches and other behind stuff.

They really like us to be confused about stuff! 🤣 As for the line about Suga becoming a king, he's talking about how he success went to his head a little bit, and now as he got older and wiser, he's realized that fame and money are not everything. He's killing the greedy mad king part of himself. There's actually another video about the making of this MV where he sits down and talks about it more. He also talks about this in his song Interlude:Shadow off of the Map of the Soul: 7 album.

The sketches are released after the MVs - but the members will talk in the sketch as though the MV hasn't come out yet (because it hasn't - they're filming it) but they like the MVs to be a surprise, so they don't tell you anything about them before hand (unless it's an official teaser). Also, just an FYI: Jin likes to lie (and tease Suga when he can), so when he says Suga begged them to be in it, he's actually likely either lying or exaggerating.

2022-11-13 00:37:27 +0000 UTCVery good point. 6th Muster was their 3rd concert they held during the pandemic (Bang Bang Con was June 2020, and the MOTS ON:E in Oct 2020). Their previous two concerts were held in a more of indoor sets type setting. But the guys mentioned during their 6th Muster they wanted to do something outdoors on a stage like an actual concert. Covid restrictions were still strict in korea at the time, so they couldn't have a live audience. But I think it's very sweet how the BH staff set up the screens & army bombs to have a virtual live audience. The armys featured on the screens won the raffle to have themselves Zoom in on the concert.

When you'll see the MMA and other great performances mostly at awards ceremony, what you saw on this video it will seem less than nothing for you. I hope you get to experience it eventually, rather than knowing what you're about to watch. I watched Sowoozoo live at work. Myself and my colleague (a fellow Army) streamed it sneakily whilst my boss was away. She was still attempting to get some work done, but as soon as that shot of Yoongi on the throne came on, I grabbed her! I was like "HOLY SHIT OT7 DAECHWITA!" It's safe to say we totally forgot we were even at work whilst watching this masterpiece. Love loved loved these reactions!

Big hit loves BTS more than a normal label would. you can also see it in their mobile games. and every content. i think many of the staff members might be army too because they include things army talk about on social media hidden meanings and it always blow my mind. even when they interview bts they make sure to ask what armys want to hear. this concert was a way of easing the pain of a long distance relationship. and the concert broke the rocord of the highest live steamed online concert with 1,33 million PAID viewers it´s crazy

I think you will understand more what Yoongi ment when he said that Daechwita is more about auditory enjoyment then the lyrics. Because even though the lyrics are great and have a lot of historical references and are well thought out they are not that deep when you compare them with the rest of the album. The album is so raw, honest, introspective, emotional and is bringing up some existential questions. And of course he self produced the whole album. No wonder why he calls himself a genius 😊

About Yoongi showing excitement, I think Yoongi comes off as cool and chill, which he is, but he is just as energetic as Hobi at times. It's actually really funny and cute seeing him switch from serious to chaotic. As you get into their content you'll see Yoongi doing his goofy dances and singing his lungs out with the others.

First, I saw that we're doing Daechwita, then when I saw Jk and Jin on the screen I thought "fun, they're re-creating the scene from the MV", AND THEN I saw /some person/ doing Suga's verse. My mind went blank and it took the the whole verse to realise that it was Jimin. I mean, I knew that Jimin is be able to do those sorts of things (after Tony Montana and Ddaeng) but WOW I didn't expect it at all. It's always fun when they do stuff like this to surprise us.

They did the same thing (brought in all members) for j-hope's Chicken Noodle Soup, too. I can't wait for you guys to check it out, I know you will be incredibly impressed with the members performance there too (especially since it is a trilingual song). I would love for you guys to check to fool behind the scenes for the music video and for the sowoozoo performance! Both are a lot of fun, and super interesting (and impressive) to see. They tend to release little things every week, be it interviews, BTS bombs, photos, etc.. before the release the shooting sketch. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong on that timeline. But they are always after the MV are released.

This was one of the first things that made me love BTS as a group is the fact that the members are completely supportive of each other, both as a group and individually. I feel like in America there are so many bands that break up because someone decided to go solo and they all have envy or bitterness towards each other, yet BTS is the exact opposite. They show up for each other, they cheer each other on, and encourage each other to take on whatever their heart desires. I love them so much for this.
