I've watched a bunch of reactions and you're the only one to catch the hideo kojima bar. *Applause*

You haven't listened to sideline story!!! That's where this energy at!!

Billy Cline

could you react to limbo by amine?

Defo feels more like a mixtape than an album, has that super aggressive energy but doesn’t flow like fhd or 4yeo or any of his other album albums do

This album would've hit better if he'd saved Interlude and The Climb Back for the album drop, because that second half of the album after 100 mil (and for me personally after pride is the devil) was complete heat, but a little bit of a let down because we already knew two tracks. Overall great album though, and some of the songs were incredible, and his overall energy and experimentation was great, but I think he could've done more with features since he opened himself up to using them (getting actual verses from JID and Bas, even Cam'ron/Dame). Don't think it's his best album though.

Let me preface this by saying that this is a good album... that being said i think this is J Coles worst album, Amari. Pride is the devil. Let go my hand. And hunger on hillside are the un-skippables for me... to be honest i think middle child was better than any of the songs on here he should have saved it. i give it a 7/10 especially when compared to his other albums

I think he was just in a different lane with this album. I still enjoyed it tho. With a name like The Off-Season this definitely sounds like a album u can hoop to

Loved this album so much. So fire

Loved the lil baby feature, the way he slid onto the beat

I honestly really enjoyed it. Nothing too crazy but the bars hit and the delivery was very deliberate. When I was listening to My Life I didn’t see the feature and I thought “this sounds just like a 21 Savage song” and lo and behold.

Kinda disappointed ngl. He built a lot of anticipation and I though it would be 2014 fhd or better. His rapping is still great but the song composition and the hits just aren’t there. Production is the best since 2014 tho. Let go my hand is his best song and he should’ve stayed in that groove. I would expect jcole to put out a better project than 1999 or the waters ( that have great song composition, beats, and high level rapping)
